As a Taiwanese I ve tried their dishes. I say it’s pretty close to authentic Taiwanese dishes I had in Taiwan. I love the drinks and boba, it’s not the typical hard boba that is so hard to chew. I love the quality and service.

It's been a while since I had authentic Taiwanese stinky tofu so I was pleasantly surprised. If you like stinky tofu, you must give it a try. Highly recommended!

Best hidden little gem! Mr. Kuso catered our office event for the second time this year. Every dish was thought out and tasty! You can tell the attention that went into making it. Even though it was made for an office of 35 people, it did not lose its individual flavors, freshness, or texture one bit! Wasn't sure how the office folks would like Taiwanese cuisine as our office is very diverse, but good food is universal and Mr. Kuso is a hit. We ordered hot and sour too, but forgot to get a picture. It was also really good! All of it was delicious.

Ordered through DoorDash for pick up. The food was ready pretty fast and by the time I got there it was Nicely packaged and smells amazing! The staffs are friendly, they greeted me upon entering and leaving. I ordered the popcorn chicken and fried tempura. I love the chickens were in big pieces and was crispy. The tempura tasted exactly like how I remember in Taiwan. Their menu offers a lot of different dishes and I am looking forward to try them all for my future visits!

Okay! I forgot to take photos of all the food before we started eating because my son and I were too hungry and excited to eat sorry yelpers! Came in for lunch before dentist appointment since this was very close to our orthodontist. Otherwise, I would have never found out this Taiwanese restaurant in this plaza if I didn't search on Yelp. Really really glad I tried it and would definitely come back when I am in Temple City. Interior Decor is cute and menu is actually big with lots of options. My son ordered ramen with popcorn chicken. I ordered black bean pork chop rice and side of sesame okra. My teenager eats a lot and he thinks the portion is enough for him. He also helped me to finish my rice. I really love the okra. This is a small authentic Taiwanese restaurant with warm atmosphere and welcoming service. Perfect to a casual and satisfying lunch! We will definitely come back for more dishes since there are so many more to try! I am having my eyes on the fried cheese dish next time

What can I say about this location, this is a hidden gem. Service is always good here. Every time I order to go or I bring my family with two younger kids. They always accommodate the seating. Parking is fantastic as there are plenty. The food is always hot and always fresh. There’s many different options and they have specials throughout the season. I love this place!

This is a "Taiwanese Fusion" restaurant. The ambiance is nice with cute decorations. The air conditioning works well for a hot day like today. They have a lot of drinks to choose from.We got takoyaki, the loco moco, stinky tofu, garlic squid, spam soup, fish cakes, and sesame okra.

Mr. Kuso Cafe in Temple City offers a delightful dining experience from the moment you step inside. As you enter, you're greeted by a charming duck sporting a yellow raincoat, setting a friendly and whimsical tone. The interior is adorned with a captivating array of eclectic decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bench, featuring a Doge pillow and other fun-themed elements, adds to the cozy ambiance.Their innovative approach to ordering, via a QR code at your table, adds convenience to your visit. The extensive menu boasts an impressive variety of dishes and drinks, which may initially seem overwhelming to first-time patrons.I opted for the Spicy Sauce Popcorn Chicken, and while it was undeniably flavorful, I'd like to highlight the 'sauce' in this dish. It was a tad saucier than I anticipated, as I'm accustomed to the fiery kick of chili powder-infused popcorn chicken. The Pig Intestine with Garlic Sauce provided a straightforward and satisfying culinary experience. Now, let's talk about the real star here: the Black Pepper Chicken Steak Rice. This dish is nothing short of awesome. The portion size is generous, featuring chicken with a crispy skin and juicy interior. The sizable chicken pieces could benefit from a knife for easier handling. The black pepper sauce, bold and prominent, could be slightly thinned, but it complements the dish perfectly. I've ordered this multiple times; it's a definite winner. The overall ambiance at Mr. Kuso Cafe is homely and relaxed. Nestled discreetly in the back of a supermarket plaza, it offers a unique charm. While service may seem inconspicuous due to the QR code ordering system, the staff is readily available when needed, and they exude friendliness.Don't forget to check out their selection of sauces near the cashier, ranging from Sriracha to Taiwanese sweet and spicy ketchup-like sauce, and even some authentic spicy options. In conclusion, Mr. Kuso Cafe is a hidden gem and a convenient dining spot that I wholeheartedly recommend. I anticipate returning often to savor their delectable offerings and soak in the cozy atmosphere.

Mr. Kuso Cafe truly captures the essence of Taiwan with an impressive array of Taiwanese-inspired snacks. My personal favorites are: 1. "Fried Pork Blood Rice Cake," a mouthwatering dish that combines crispy rice cake with rich flavors. 2. "Pork Cheek Meat with Garlic Sauce." The succulent meat paired with the aromatic garlic sauce, the tenderness of the pork cheek was truly remarkable. 3. "Duck Blood & Spicy Sticky Tofu Combo" is an absolute must-try.The only downside I encountered was the early closing time for dinner – 8:15 PM. It's a bit early, especially for those who enjoy leisurely evening meals. Nevertheless, the incredible dining experience more than makes up for this minor inconvenience.

I always have a great time in Mr. Kuso Cafe! I love the sweet potato fries, and the evil line of dishes! They're great. 10/10 recommend the Rose Mlik Tea. To top it off, they sell Zindrew Chilli Oil!!! I've fell in love with it at the 626 night market, and have been looking for an in-person vendor.

Okay so the food was 5/5. I asked for extra spice on my maps tofu and they didn't disappoint. the design of the place is really cute. They have pillows of like dogs and fried chicken. However the service wasn't the best. My bf and I ordered through the QR code. 2 other parties were seated after we placed our order and I believe they provided a verbal order (they were older so makes sense they didn't know how to use QR code). Somehow they got their food before us (one party was around 4-5ppl, and the other was a couple). We had to flag down a worker and ask for an update on our order. She came out with our food like 30 seconds later. It made me wonder how long our food was sitting there as it wasn't pipping hot, it was warm. However the staff was apologetic and appreciated our patience. Just wished our food came out on a timely manner where we didn't have to watch multiple parties get their food before us even tho they came in after us :')

Fun dining atmosphere with all the knick knacks on the walls. Food and drinks are delicious, and at a reasonable price. They implement a qr code menu ordering, but you can pay cash after you finish dining. My go to meal is the curry pork chop rice, and fried chicken skins.
