Pho Nguyen Hoang Restaurant

Pho Nguyen offers authentic vietnamese cuisine. Staff are friendly, industrious and competent. I came here on three occasions. In the first two days the meals (#21 & 20) are freshly cooked and tasted great. On the third day, I found a strand of long black hair on my (#19) not so fresh food. It's been awhile since I've eaten here, but I've only ever gotten their pho tai. Basic, I know. This time, I wasn't feeling pho though, so I ordered their BBQ Beef with egg noodles. I originally thought it would be served dry, but I guess I read wrong. The egg noodles were also thinner than I thought. I was assuming it'll be those rubberband looking ones. Stopped by around 915pm last Monday (11/26/18) after a fail basketball day and there was only one person in the restaurant. We were immediately sat down and given menus and water. I ordered the Pho Tai and the love got the Pho Ga, then we ordered a side of goi cuon just because. The food came out fairly quickly which was nice but it wasn't very hot. Soup looked pretty plain and it did end up tasting plain with lots of MSG but there wasn't much sign of oil so I dunno what I prefer....read full review
