It was my first time to eat Chaoshan beef hotpot.The beef lobster is surprisingly delicious.The hand-picked bones are super fragrant, and the seared oysters are not fishy at all.Forgot to order the beef balls!The meat quality is very good. It tastes great too!So far, the level of the top 3 hot pot restaurants in LaThe only drawback is that the sauce plate is too small, I refilled it three times?
Either hit or miss. We did enjoy their Chao Zhou style noodle (Kuey teow), beef tripes, and beef cube fried rice. Would recommend trying their sauces (they have a mini sauce bar), housemade shacha sauce was really good. I honestly thought everything tasted better with it. However, I would not recommend their oyster pancake and combo A hotpot, both were too plain and the hotpot beef broth tasted like a big pot of MSG water :( Should have probably ordered Combo C, I guess?
