Taqueria Los Abarcas

Ordered the quesabirrias and they were dry, burned and the cheese wasn't even melted! How are they burned and dry but not cooked through to melt the cheese! The consomé was super oily a small side of oil to dip your quesabirrias in! I told the workers that my quesabirrias were burned and they rudely ignored me after making eye contact as I explained my picky son wouldn't eat these. They handled the situation poorly speaking about it as we walked out with our dry burned quesabirrias!!! Sadly won't be returning after this horrible experience!

The food is mid range and the prices are reasonable, not cheap, but the customer service is appalling. No friendliness at all and the young lady cashier is rude, curt, and dismissive. They always have the same cashier so she may be part of a family business. Which is a disservice to the eatery because every interaction with this cashier has been unfriendly and rude. Considering the number of Mexican places to eat in the area, I suggest you skip it.

The tortillas are Guerrero brand (not necessarily bad), nice use of the flat grill to cook them, I ordered guac on each taco which was an extra dollar per taco, I was given about 3/4 table spoons of guac per taco, which I was not satisfied with, the guac was rationed with a thin flat blade spreading tool, the carne asada was tooooooo salty, it was noticeably too much salt to where the meat was ruined, if I tasted it after cooking, I would throw it away as it was not good to sell, I would be salty about it (pun intended), it would certainly cost the business money, but throw away oversalted meat, it is the right thing to do. I wasn't going to say anything but I am now chugging water as my body is feeling the salt. I had tacos el pastor as well, nothing bad to say about the taco except the same guac comment, but I must say, my palate wasn't all the way there, I was stunned by todays salt level in the carne asada. I don't post food reviews often, but have posted many in many places, to include Japan, I've had places I frequented, this place has potential but I doubt I'll be back. I spent just shy of $11 for my 4 tacos with guac

To be honest worst and most expensive lengua tacos I have them 2 chances and I was like wow there are super stingy with there portions don’t waste your time

The food and service are exceptional, but for the price the portions are not sufficient. At most restaurants you get a full portion of beans and rice in the little sections of the to go container but here you barely get any beans or rice and its a shame because the food is so good. I don't mind paying for quality but I expect to get an adult sized portion for my money. I ordered the 2 quesa birria taco combo on my last visit and there was barely enough consume in the cup for my two tacos, not to mention I only received enough beans and rice for three small spoonfuls. I hope they decide to start giving normal sized portions of beans and rice with the combos and make the food quality more consistent or I'll decide to go elsewhere.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. Super nice staff, and coupled with excellent food. I have Quesa Beria tacos. Outstanding!!! Definitely a place that I’ll be going to over and over again. 🔥
