We ordered the Smog and Jalapeño poppers. While the flavor was good for both, both my wife and I had serious stomach pains and other assorted fun later that night and after we ate the leftovers the next day.
Run away.

This pizza is terrible, at least from the San Jose location. Frozen pizza is better. I paid for extra toppings to get fewer than the normal amount in the picture. Two pieces had all the toppings with the rest basically a cheese pizza. I'm originally from Detroit. I don't expect a true-Detroit Style like Buddys back home, but this was far worse than Little Caesars at triple the price. The City of Detroit has been bankrupt, abandoned by its population and industry, and been burned in several riots... I think this place putting the name of 8 Mile and Detroit in their name when they serve this terrible excuse for pizza is an equal catastrophe!

We ordered a pizza from here for the second time because the first time was good. Yesterday the pizza was horrible hard no sauce taste was not good at all was like they had it from the day before and throw it in a box. This will be my last time ordering and to think I said it was better than Round Table. Why was the cheese throw around the crust and burned.

Their Sicilian pizza is just okay.

This review is long overdue.8 Mile Detroit Pizza really saved our night where we did not know where to order, and I was scrolling up and down yelp page where just to get a simple pizza for my family. I stumbled upon 8Mile, looked through their menu, and every dish was actually sounded delicious. So we decided to get their:1. Three Cheese Red Top Detroit Style (With three different kinds of cheese: Mozzarella, Provolone, Romano). This definitely hit the spot. The combination of three cheese just made it a delicious simple cheese pizza.2. Fun Guy Forno (tomato sauce, mozzarella, brick of cheese, sauteed mushrooms, slow-roasted garlic, and basil). My husband loves this dish specifically. Anything with sauté mushroom on top of bread with cheese just his thing.3. Wolverine Salad (Caesar salad with cherry tomatoes, parmesan, green pepper, bacon, cilantro, grilled chicken, croutons). Their croutons were my favorite! They baked it perfectly with the right amount of cheese on top! Just made my salad the perfect amount of crispiness.4. BBQ Wings. Perfect for appetizer. Don't forget to ask for ranch sauce to dip it with.We ordered it online. The process was smooth and pizza came on time. We appreciate the convenient of cloud kitchen during this pandemic time where the option of dining in was still limited. (We ordered this during March this year where most restaurants were still shutting down). We definitely will coming back to this place.

I spent like 80 something bucks on like 2 pizzas and cheesy bread , pizza was dry & no flavor what's so ever, legit the pizza was smaller than the deep dish from little Caesars, the cheesybread had no cheese & it took like an HR to get the food . Legit not worth it in my opinion

Pizza is crispy and fluffy and super large portion, but it’s fairly mediocre and the ingredients aren’t very flavorful.

Convenient, delicious, and fast! Loved their Greek Pizza and Wolverine Salad.

This has got to be one of my new favorite pizza places in San Jose!! I just love how delicious and flavorful their pizzas are ?I would have to say that their BBQ chicken pizza was my personal favorite!! I also enjoyed their super cheesy cheese bread and tasty BBQ wings ?

Yuch! I am from the Metro-Detroit Area and this pizza is an insult to Detroit style pizza. I got the SMOG pizza and it had zero taste. I guess I'll have to go back to Buddy's Pizza in Detroit to get real Detroit style pizza.

There's crust, there's cheese, there's a few drops of sauce. Yes the cheese mixture smells and tastes expensive because, well, this pizza is expensive. The crust is crispy and cheesy to a fault. The pepperoni is curled and crispy. And if you are looking for a pseudo premium experience then you can spend your money on this pizza and you will probably feel ok.But I grew up in Michigan. I've eaten Detroit style pizza from probably every kind of Detroit style pizza place out in Michigan. And if you are looking for a Detroit style pizza experience and use this as your first pie? You'll be disappointed. Little Caesars has a better Detroit style pie than this place. They compare themselves to Buddy's pizza from Michigan... It's an insult to Buddy's.I am not a pizza connoisseur. But I've eaten a lot of pizza. I like all pizza. But the mix of cheese, crust, sauce, and topping on this pizza is no bueno. So if you are really craving Detroit style pizza, then drive up to SF and have a square from cellarmaker over this.

Was craving some Detroit style pizza and enjoyed a BBQ chicken ? from here. Feels much lighter than a Chicago style pizza. Got the 10"x14" and it was plenty for 2 people. Pick up at the Cloud kitchen was easy.

They serve thick rectangular pies that were inspired by the famous pizzerias in Detroit. The crusts are so crispy and so many flavors to choose from.It is very convenient to order online and pick up is so easy. What we got: BBQ Chicken, Motown Meat Lover, Cheese Breadsticks
