We got four of their specialty rolls. They were not fresh, the avocado was old and the sushi lacked flavor. The ginger was old and browning on the edges. The miso soup was sweet (never had sweet miso before) so we sent it back. Will not be going back. Spend $130 on below average food.

I have ordered many times from this place and it never disappoints. This time I ordered Lion King Baked roll and it was as always . All the items in the menu are quite affordable and worth the price.

I was very disappointed with the quality. At first, they made me the wrong rolls. They quickly redid it. Just look how it looks. It's just horrible.

And of course, no one put ginger and wasabi in my box.

The food wasn't the best. I got the almaden and it was kinda plan even though it had a lot of things on top, the miso soup was kinda sweet and the atmosphere was strange. They played overly religious music which I grew up basically tortured by a religious woman so I felt uncomfortable

It's affordable, but the sushi was mid. A good example is that sushi rice wasn't properly seasoned or seasoned enough. The ratio of ingredients in a roll was very inconsistent or too much of one ingredient.

A great casual place to go for excellent Bento Box.

I came on a Friday and got a delicious Bento Box with Tuna, Salmon and Hamachi Sashimi. Everything thing in Box was edible from the Daikon and Cucumber slices that decorated each sashimi selection to the delicious salad and rice. I got an extra bowl of rice on the side, and that was included as well.

A most exceptional casual dining experience. I will definitely be back.

Vegetarian options: I’m a flexitarian so I eat seafood and poultry. There are a lot of options with people who are flexitarians.

For vegetarians who strictly eat vegetables there are fewer selections, but there are some options.

The food is decent, but I had a bad experience with the service.
I ordered the California Combination from the lunch special menu, and was given the complete wrong thing. When I pointed this out, I was brushed off with "yeah that's the lunch special". Didn't have time to fight for it to be remade, and wait for that to get done, so they got to pick what I had for lunch today. ?

This will probably put me off the place for a long while.

I came here from Korea three years ago. In Korea, you can eat high-quality sushi or rolls very cheaply, but you can't do that in the United States. The price is either too expensive or the quality has dropped significantly.
This is the first time since I came to the United States that I have had food of this quality at this price. Food, service, cleanliness, and price are all great. In particular, I don't know if the lunch special (bento) will make a profit for this restaurant. The sashimi I had here before was also pretty good.

Among the reviews, I saw some comparing it to sushi sold at the market. It cannot be compared to market sushi where the rice grains have become hard due to being stored in a cold refrigerator.

It's difficult to compare the quality with traditional Japanese restaurants, but I was very satisfied because I didn't expect high-quality sushi at this price range.

Corrected the review:
I haven’t been here for a year since they increased the price. I think today will be the last time I came cuz it’s not worth the wait and visit at all!

I ordered the combination tofu soup about 2pm. The food came very slowly, plus the side dish of kimchi is a joke.. With $20 including minimum 15% tip they expected, they need to see and learn what other Korean restaurants offer.
