Amato's Cheese Steaks

I got the chicken philly and it was disgusting. My boyfriend and I agreed it tasted like old chicken. I had to toss it as it was just that bad and I do NOT like wasting food, esp meat. My boyfriend did enjoy his steak philly tho.

This place is the best bar none. I usually order the works cheesesteak sandwich, but today I decided to try the Chicken California sandwich, my god this was delicious and now I’m sitting in front of the tv in food coma bliss.
Keep up the great work and I’m definitely a customer for life.

Just a little spot with a great cheese steak this is actually the 2nd place the mother restaurant is a little bigger same great sandwich

Staff was extraordinarily friendly, the sandwich i got, “ the works #10 “ was full of flavor and absolutely packed to the gills with meat, cheese and mushrooms! I almost ordered a whole sandwich because I was so hungry but thankfully the wonderful lady behind the counter showed me just how much sandwich I would’ve gotten! I only had half of my sandwich and that was more than filling!!! I usually eat a whole sandwich from Little Luccas in one go!! “ if you don’t know little luccas they have massive sandwiches! “ Absolutely worth every penny I spent, I ordered 2 sides as well and I couldn’t even finish both because the sandwich was so filling! Will be coming again not just for the food, but for the friendly, welcoming, and kind staff within the establishment!! Not to mention Rocky 4 was on the TV which to me is an all time classic!!! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

When I go usually is an older gentleman that cooks he’s kinda looks like my uncle that was also a great cook but the guy who cooked my cheesesteak today did just as well. I totally wish you could all try these.

Guy behind the counter cooking the food is very rude, I showed up 15 mins before closing and he wasn’t inviting or appreciative of having a customer to bring this company money and business. So I said that’s fine and walked out I’m never coming back to this place again. He seemed very upset because I showed up right before closing as he was cleaning the grill.. He should be fired because they just lost a customer for life ?
