Good cheese. Good steak. Good bread. Honestly love coming here for a cheat day and wolfing down one of these guys. Service is quick and while the price might seem steep it’s a BIG sandwich. Thanks guys !

We’ve Been eating Amatos for many years, the bread is the best thing about it! Soft and warm. They’re very skimpy on the mushrooms and cheese, the meat needs more seasoning.

It is very clear that the owner isn't from and has never been to Philly.

Tasteless pule of meat with 3 slices of cheese. It was a lot of food ($25.00 per a sandwich) but it wasn't very tasty. We tried the fries and the bacon cheese fries. Dont!

I dropped by this place with my wife today. We ordered half cheesesteak sandwich. The portion was so generous that we had to take half back home. This is definitely the best cheesesteak sandwich I have had so far in the US. My wife didn't understand why I got so excited about the sandwich, but I could tell, the sandwich was made seriously with respect for customers. I strongly recommend this place for a bite of the cheesesteak sandwich. It is probably the best in the whole bay area.

Are you people insane?

You increased prices an extreme amount. My order used to cost me 34$ pretax/delivery (August) and now that same order would cost me $54 (pre-fees). After fees it would be $70.....

I used to order from you guys twice a month then decreased to once a month after your initial price increases. And now I'm going to be at 0 times a year.

You have lost me and im sure many others.

I get that it's hard running a small business, that's why I tipped for a to-go order, but why the heck wasn't the chef wearing gloves and was just openly raw dogging my food with his hands? Wiping them repeatedly on his apron too which made me feel sick

As a Cowboys Fan I had to swallow my pride to walk through the door. After the first bite of the cheesesteak, football was an afterthought. Great spot.

I got the chicken philly and it was disgusting. My boyfriend and I agreed it tasted like old chicken. I had to toss it as it was just that bad and I do NOT like wasting food, esp meat. My boyfriend did enjoy his steak philly tho.
