good food but rude workers. just witnessed them laughing at a man who asked a question about the food. do that behind closed doors, not when other customers are watching.

Amazing cioppino. Filled with seafood. Only improvement is a real soup spoon instead of the dinky plastic one provided.

This place used to be good a few years ago. Now the portions have shrunk drastically and prices have gone up, not to mention the fish is now always way too greasy and too full of breading. I was really glad I didn’t have to walk all the way to city fish for good fish and chips when anchors first opened up, but now I am more than willing to walk those extra few blocks.

The muscles were meager. The fish and chip's batter was bland. The food cost twice as much but not any better then frozen GORTON'S from the grocery store.Parking: Parking sucks

Decent place with amp choices of seafood items. Was not happy about the ~4% service fee for takeout, seriously?! You get 1 star docked automatically.I got the teriyaki salmon bowl. A little stingy on the rice given the price. Salmon was good and tender.Atmospheric can be a little loud and not as spacious, but that San Pedro.Might be worth coming again if feeling the itch.Heard from others that the lobster roll isn’t good and to stick with Old Port.

The food was great , restaurant was located in the heart of Willow Glen , ambience was very relaxing, and the service was good.

The fish & chips were excellent and I would definitely return to try other menu offerings. I don't care much fordining in a busy food court after work on a Sunday afternoon but the food was worth it!

$50 for a Dungeness crab sandwich with fries & lobster roll sandwich. Came on a busy Sunday at lunch during a 49ers game. Not much space to eat, or park.Bread was the best thing about the sandwiches. Crab sandwich was overwhelmingly mayo flavored and salty. Lobster roll was better, but still salty with taste of the ocean. Fries were like homemade. At least it was filling.Speed of service good with a remote vibrator when the order is ready. All in all, not worth. Wouldn't come again.

I purchased their halibut fish and chips because there was a special, it being only $20-$22 (can't recall). I love halibut! The chips were fried to crispy perfection and so was the halibut. However, the halibut lacked flavor. I wished they seasoned it a bit. I had to use a lot of dipping sauce (ketchup and ranch) in order to enhance tummy meal, otherwise the taste was pretty bland. The service is good. Cashier is nice and she was patient with me when I was deciding what to get for lunch. It was my first time eating from here. The ambiance is a small little restaurant inside the other side of San Pedro market square. Has only a few chairs so we sat outdoors to enjoy the nice weather.

This is a pretty solid seafood fast service place within San Pedro Market Square. There's a 6-7 seat bar where you can eat your food, which comes in handy for something unwieldy like the cioppino - imagine trying to carry that through a crowd! The halibut fish and chips was pretty good. The fish seemed a step above your standard fish and chips fare - you pay an extra $4.95 for the Canadian Halibut vs the standard - I think it's worth it.Importantly, the fish wasn't heavy or greasy. The breading was a little thicker than my ideal, but it was a healthy portion of fish and a reasonable amount of batter - not those popcorn shrimp situations where you're eating batter with a micro-shrimp inside. The fries were standard - nothing special, but not greasy or soggy. My wife liked her cioppino - the tomato broth was good, the seafood generously given. She did get some sand/grit in a couple of bites, but not totally uncommon with shellfish.Bread was fine - nothing special, but nothing to criticize either. This was about what you'd hope for from a casual counter order seafood place. Worth trying if you're in the mood for seafood.

$17 for this basic calamari. Tastes like other calamari I had. Talk about inflation.

Had the fish and chips and a cup of clam chowder.Fish & chips were good and the portion was good, look at the photo! Fish was proper Cod ftw! Good job Anchor. Fries (few places serve "chips") were crispy and tender.Clam chowder was surprisingly good. I tend to not have high expectations for clam chowder since many places just don't do it justice. This was definitely way better than the overhyped Sam's Chowder house, which we've written off. My daughter tipped the cup back to get every drop.
