The coffee and croissants here are absolutely outstanding.
Well-plated, quality food, with creative ingredients. Portions were quite small. Service was slow, and waiter didn't tell us that the price of the the menu addition (scallops) was $64 - roughly twice everything else on that section of the menu. I trusted it'd be on-par with the other pricing, not 2x - that was an unpleasant surprise.
Augustine’s coffee has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a grab-and-go coffee at Santana Row. I’ve tried both their double espresso and their iced coffee, and both were excellent. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I needed.

Augustine is a restaurant with well-plated, quality food and creative ingredients. The restaurant is stunning, offering an incredible atmosphere of luxury, authenticity, and high-end style. It is conveniently located and vast and spacious. Guests can sit outside on the terrace to soak up the bustling weekend city vibe and watch passersby, or head further inside for romance or quiet seclusion. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and cozy, with stylish, modern tableware and table settings.
The food receives mixed feedback. The oysters were amazing, and the tomahawk steak med rare did not disappoint. The potatos and cauliflower were nicely done. The Crab Donuts had a flavorful crab filling, and the Herbed Salmon a la Plancha was a favorite. The Grilled Peaches & Stracciatella Salad was refreshing, the Crushed Crispy Potatoes were nicely crisp, and the Rigatoni Bolognese was comforting. However, the duck dish was a major disappointment, as it was overcomplicated with too many spices and ingredients. Portions were quite small. One downside was that a $7 coffee was not served in a mug. Overall, Augustine offers a memorable dining experience.
