Overrated. Shrimp is not deveined and has no flavor. Ate a few shrimp out of the 3lbs couldn't get past it. The garlic noodles were good.
customer service at front is so disorganized they need to have more than 2 people sitting people and for the takeout orders aswell, and ordering takeout was chaotic it was super busy but why ask what we wanted if she was just gonna do other things than take out order in front. The only nice person was this guy but smh do better.

Crab Bay in San Jose is hands down the best seafood restaurant Iāve ever been to! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt fun and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. But letās talk about the foodāwow! The crawfish was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the flavors took me straight to Louisiana. It was so fresh and flavorful that I couldnāt stop eating.
The lobster pasta was absolutely out of this world. The sauce was rich and creamy, and the lobster was tender and perfectly cooked. Every bite felt like a taste of the South, and I honestly felt like I had been transported to a seafood boil in Louisiana.
This place is a true hidden gem in San Jose. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and you can tell they put so much love into their cooking. Iāve been to plenty of seafood spots, but nothing even comes close to the quality and flavor I had here. Crab Bay has officially become my go-to spot whenever Iām craving amazing seafood. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal!ā

The food is amazing and affordable! Honestly, it's worth it coming in as the 1st customer of the day and you get amazing customer service. The staff was patient with me despite and quick on their feet. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quiet, space-y, and lovely. The boba was so fruity. Unfortunately, one thing did threw me off is the bathroom stall with the writings. I hope they're able to get rid of it soon! 10/10 would recommend š

Crab Bay is a visually charming stop, but the experience left our party of fiveācelebrating my nieceās college graduationāfeeling under-whelmed. After an hourās detour (with eight more hours on the road), we found the Saturday-night dining room surprisingly quiet. The nautical dĆ©cor is delightful and the host team genuinely welcoming, yet narrow, high tables meant constant vigilance against sending a boiling seafood bag into a lap. Mast-like posts block sightlines, so servers rarely noticed raised hands, and we ended up flagging down three different team members who looked more frazzled than rude.
Food was a mixed bag: garlic noodles were stellar, shrimp and crawfish flavorful if slightly overdone, and mussels and oysters fresh. DO NOT SKIP THE GARLIC FRIES! Corn was sweet, but potatoes arrived undercooked, and the garlic-butter crab combo tasted oddly blandāeven an extra $2 ramekin of butter didnāt help. Our smallest combo, two appetizers, added eggs, and soft drinks totaled more than $142 after tax and tip, which felt steep given the inconsistent service and $2 up-charges for basics like extra sauce. Napkins were flimsy, no wet wipes were provided, and shell discard space vanished fast; a lone restroom sits across the full length of the restaurant with scant signage.
Crab Bayās spotless dining room, strong thematic commitment, and a few standout bites show promise, but the overall vibe felt like a ship taking on water. With better table layout, stronger server support, and more balanced flavors, it could be worth another voyage. For now, itās a pricey, middling port of callāmemorable more for the cost than the culinary cuisine.

The service here was great. Crawfish was not fresh and we can taste the difference in our batch.

We got shrimp, crawfish, clams, and snow crab in mild house sauce and they were all really delicious! I am very picky with my crawfish as they need to be fresh and I would say they did it fairly well here. Service was also great as they accommodated my huge party that includes kids very quickly on fatherās day. Oh and their garlic noodle was also really good was it was more like garlic pasta than vietnamese garlic noodles which my family (and my 90 y/o grandma) ended up liking very much!

The food here is absolutely delicious, the house sauce is extremely flavorful but not too salty. The shrimp po boy was so fresh and flavorful, the Mac cheese was hot and creamy, everything was great. Beware that the spicy is actually spicy! The blinds are a bit gross lol, thatās my one complaint.

This was our first and last time here. The service is slow and inattentive. The food is also mediocre when compared to other Cajun restaurants.
We ordered the Garlic Noodles with Hot Link, Fried Fish with fries, and Fried Shrimp with fries.
The Garlic Noodles were overcooked and mushy. When we asked the staff about it, we were told that noodles were not their specialty. The only thing good on this dish was the slices of hot links.
As for our fried dishes, they were on the saltier side for us. Also, there was nothing exciting about them. We opted for the fried dishes because we weren't in the mood to peel our food.
