The hubby, our daughter & I went to the Oakridge Mall to get the hubs a new Mac Book Pro & decided to get some pizza in the food court afterwards. I had never tried Blondie's pizza before & today seemed as good a time as any. I have to say, the slices themselves are as big as a meal themselves. The sauce has a nice spicy kick to it. The slices are not "extra" cheesy. The ratio of Cheese, Sauce, toppings & dough is well thought out & compliments each other nicely. My only wish is that the slices were a little warmer & the crust had a little bit more crunch. The dough is soft w/a little chew; I just wish there was just a little bit more crispness on the bottom of the slice. The pizza reminds me of Sbarro from back in the day but I always thought that Sbarro used too much cheese. Blondie's is better! If you're looking for a good slice to fill you up w/a spicy kick, Blondie's is the place to go. Also, for 3 large slices & 3 medium drinks was under $30.00. The 3 slices put together could make a whole medium pizza. That doesn't include drinks w/it. Blondie's (to me) gives you a great deal.

I got a slice tonight and it was pretty good! The service was nice & friendly! The reason I gave 3 stars if bcuz I would kindly recommend the pizza maker to use gloves while handling the cheese and other ingredients instead of using his bare hands. That's all, but I'll be back for my next pizza craving.

Went pretty close to opening, and the slice was nice and fresh. Super friendly service, and my slice actually came out cheaper than what was posted on the menu (the cashier gave me the special even though I didn't call it out).Solid mall pizza, on par with the Sbarros of the world.

I am so happy that they opened this location in San Jose. I was introduced to Blondies Pizza in early 90s Loved it from then and I still love it. Thank you Blondies for having delicious pepperoni Pizza.

This place is dishonest, pizza is horrible and overpriced and overcharged for stupid box, and processing fee. I would NOT even given them a star.

Had high expectations. It's hard to mess up pizza, right? And it LOOKS good. But it's pretty bad. The crust looks nice and fluffy, but has a very cardboard taste. The sauce is lacking. And it would need a LOT more cheese to cover up the lack of flavor from the crust and sauce. At least they are generous with the toppings.

Rating would be higher if the no refill policy on drinks was posted anywhere. Most others have free refills at this mall.

Service was horrible, the guy was rude. Got the student deal for 10 dollars it was not worth it and you're better off getting Taco Bell in the food court . Pizza had no sauce and was tasteless. Hidden fees on the receipt when you use your card, 35 cent fee charge and a 50 cent charge if you need a box. Horrible would not recommend for a quick bite. Threw away 10 dollars worth of food, and a full cup of ice with no soda.

The people working here and so kind and the pizza is good classic pizza! I'm not a big red sauce person so I appreciate the amount the put it, not too light but not a lot, which is great for people what don't like that warm tomato taste. I got the cheese and my hubby got the pepperoni and we both we shared, one slice is definitely enough for two lol. The slices are huge! We will be coming back again for sure

The pizza overall was good. But the service was disappointing. Walked up and one of the guys behind the counter just pointed to the kiosk for us to order. We ordered a slice of cheese pizza for my child then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for a single slice. Another customer walked up ordered at the register and got her food in a matter of seconds. When I walked up to inform them that we had ordered they just looked at me and then turned around to talk to another person behind the counter before asking me for a receipt.

One star for customer service. Saturday July 1st atound 615pm I was waiting where i thought the line was, but after about 2 minutes was told the line was on the other side. I move and tell the other person behind me they said to order over there. So while I'm waiting in line, a couple comes and enters the line behind the person I'm in front of. The employee who told me to go get in line the other way, waived those people over and took their order. Even after the people said they would wait. So incredibly rude. They have a touch screen to take orders, but there is a cashier. But that same employee tells me to use the touch screen. I decided to just take my business elsewhere.

I've now been here twice. I walked up to the counter. There were 3 people standing around behind the counter. I make eye contact. Try and look cute to get their attention but just 3 expressionless faces looking back. Finally one young woman decides to help me because she probably figured I'm not going away. I get a slice of pepperoni and a fountain drink. I watch as the young woman fills half the cup with ice, pours a little bit of Dr. Pepper in and then tops it off with another scoop of ice. Ok. She's probably just looking out for me because soda is bad. After a short wait I get me pizza. The grease is just dripping off this slice. Even I hesitate to eat it. Apparently Blondie's is some sort of institution in Berkeley for some reason. Pizza is greasy, doughy and flavorless. The also charged me a .35 cent processing fee. For what I don't know. I'm pretty sure you need to display something that says what you're being charged for. I already gave you a 20% tip for lousy customer service. I know some high rollers might think that's a drop in the bucket but you shouldn't be able to add on a fee no matter how small.
