The food is good. However, the service disappoints, with the chef always displaying an attitude that takes away from the overall experience.

Bo Ne is delicious, but the wait was way too long, about 40 minutes. Still, I’d recommend trying it because it’s worth it. Plus, there are other great food vendors in the food court you can check out while you’re there.

4 stars for food because the taste is inconsistent. The first time I went here the food was delicious! It made me want to go back for more. The meat was tender and flavorful. The pate had a lot of flavor too. Overall the first time was amazing, and great service from Jack.
The 2nd time I went the meat didn't have flavor, like there was no sauce or it wasn't marinated. I'm not sure. It was still tender though. The pate was still great!
Out of the two Bo Ne places I've tried, I prefer this place over the other one because there's more flavor. The other place had no flavor in their pate or meat so it was really plain.
About the location:
This place is inside a food court with NO AC or air circulation, so on a hot day in SJ, you'd be sweating while eating. It can get crowded during lunch time, making it hard to find seating. There is someone there who busses the tables so you don't have to worry about cleaning up.
Service-wise is a hit or miss too but typical of an Asian place. It is what it is. I don't expect much lol.

Cash only! Went on a Saturday around 1pm no wait to order and it took about 20-25 minutes to get our food. A portion of bò né was enough to share between two, although big eaters might get hungry not too long after. Really good - came with the beef, pate, a meatball?, two eggs on the sizzling plate plus bread, cup of tea, salad, and soy-ish sauce. Loved everything except for the salad, which was just ok. Busy food court so can be hard to find a table, so we ate outside, but we also didn't try hard to get one.

This food court offers plenty of good Viet food but the sizzling plate in the shape of a cow is what you're probably here for. It's 100% worth it, a perfect breakfast.

Food is excellent. $20, inclusive of tax. Comes with a small baguette to soak up the pate and meat juices. Food court is rather dirty.

Food Hall style seating. Plenty of seating during a weekday visit. Not noisy and there's a bathroom.

Amazing food for an amazing price! My husband and I are both big eaters, but we were pretty full after sharing one bò né between the two of us for $20. My brother, sister-in-law, and mom shared a second bò né and almost had leftovers. The cow shaped sizzling plate was unique and very cool!My favorite part was the warm toasty bread that paired perfectly with the juicy tender steak and paté! Next time we'll definitely see if we can get two though since we were practically fighting over it.We went on a Monday around noon and it was about 20min wait in line before ordering, then about 15min for the food to come out. Absolutely worth the wait, but it's good to divide and conquer to pick up some apps (i.e. spring rolls) from places nearby/grab a table when one frees up! Food court is a bit small, but cleaner than I expected, with several bussers on standby.
Parking: Parking is easy to find in the Lion plaza and then it was a quick walk to the food court. Only odd thing was the food court entrance had a big "Dance Studio" sign out top.
