Very traditional Chinese-American eatery. Quiet and well lit, with comfortable seating and an extensive selection. We were seated promptly, with great courtesy. Bo Town is Vietnamese Chinese, and you cannot go wrong with seafood, especially the steamed varieties. A steamed oyster for only $12 comes with 8 jumbo pieces, lightly seasoned with ginger root and green onions. It was mouth watering just thinking about it. Other dishes are also very fairly priced for a downtown location. The second time, I ordered a Vietnamese dish, lemongrass frog legs, for only $11. Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant in downtown San Jose, California. Diverse menu loaded with beef, pork, chicken, and seafood dishes. Some dishes were really good such as salt and pepper spare ribs, shrimp fried rice, and almond chicken. Some dishes like their salted pepper fish and Mongolian beef aren't that good. Dining area is clean but bathroom sanitation needs to improve.
