Come try a bowl of Bun Rieu loaded with high concentrations of MSG—bột ngọt—and find out how your body really feels afterward. Just a heads-up: you might walk out of the restaurant feeling fatigue.
Delicious food. We tried a few dishes here. Aside from Bun Mam which is quite under flavor for this dish, the others were good enough. Their drinks and sweet desserts were also really tasty. I tried their sweet desserts one, Mung Bean (I think). It was sweet enough (not too sweet) to be refreshing during a hot day. My husband also said their Sam Bo Luong was good.
I had bún riêu here and it was pretty mediocre at best, a bit too salty and isn't that flavorful. And for $18 for that, you might as well go next door to bánh cuốn ông tạ restaurant and have this there for $3 less and taste even better.
