It got busier as the evening went on, but service was slowwwww. Food was good (got a combination of the crispy and soft tacos) chicken was great the asada seemed more like ground beef. Generous portions. If you're not in a hurry and not worried about service for sure give it a try.
Cali Spartan has become our go-to place for birrea. We have gone back 3 times now - ordering the same item each time.

I frequent this taco place, and it's a dream because the generous seating means you can usually walk right in. The crispy tacos are a standout, and the cabeza is a must-try. Their signature sauce is incredibly reliable, and I can't get enough of it. They provide fresh onion, cilantro, and radish as toppings. Unlike the downtown branch, this location offers the flexibility of paying with card (3% surcharge applies) or cash.
