It is only 440pm. Guy that answered the phone said that corporate told them to close early because it was slow. Not cool :(

It was very easy to order the food online or using the app. I really appreciate that customers can pay with their giftcard online, too!I ordered the family meal for 4 today, which is a really great deal. For $45, it includes a salad, pasta, 2 pizzas, and a sourdough baguette. After ordering online, I drove to the restaurant.There was a sign on the door stating masks are required inside. I also saw yellow tape on the ground to let customers social distance when they wait in line. Customers can also choose curbside pickup, and the workers will deliver your food to your car. I only had to wait a few minutes for my family meal. The pizzas all tasted really good. I highly recommend the bbq chicken. The baguette was a bit cold like it was just taken out of the fridge. Overall, I appreciate the safety measures CPK has in place to make customers feel safe. I highly recommend CPK if you want delicious pizzas!

So over the last couple months we've ordered take-out here several times. The experience has been inconsistent. Sometimes very good, sometimes rather forgettable and flawed. Unfortunately, we're usually mostly motivated to review because of bad experiences and we've had a few. Their pizzas can be quite good, but they have forgotten to add bacon to my pizza half the time (3 out of 6 instances). My wife also discovered a hair in her pasta last week. She also has noticed an apparent trend during the shutdown. Portion sizes have shrunk, especially on the pastas. There seems to be a concerted effort to skimp. We've noticed this with the bread portions as well.

This CPK used to be one of our favorite restaurants for over 10 years but the service has gotten really bad. Maybe they were just understaffed but there were quite a few empty tables at 7pm a week before Christmas. After ordering, we waited 20+ minutes for our drinks. Our waiter couldn't seem to see me waving at him to ask where our drinks were. He did seem busy taking care of other tables. He finally brought the drinks then came right back with our pizzas which weren't hot anymore. He brought the bill promptly at the end but after waiting another 15 minutes to pay, I walked up to the bar to ask if I could close our bill. That's the last time I'm going to this CPK. Plenty of other restaurants in the Almaden area now.

O man. What can I say. This place is delicious everytime I eat here. If you want a great meal, try the king pow spaghetti. It's the best. And the street corn o it's to die for. I eat here probably once a week. And they make the process of getting my food during the covid19 outbreak, seamless. They are always wearing there masks. And that is great because unlike some places in this world, who dont care about the public's safety California pizza kitchen is really making me feel safe. Kudos to them. I cant say enough good things about this place... it's got to be one of my favorite spots in san jose when I'm in the area.

The food is very good, and the service is good. Our servers are sometimes very enthusiastic, which makes the experience interesting ?. The restaurant is clean, and they have a good variety of options to choose from. The prices are slightly expensive however. The food quality is good :))

This rating is for their customer service. Ordered through Uber Eats and for some reason the order was canceled. Called them and a man and swerved and simply just said "I don't know,, I didn't do it" lol so unprofessional. We tried to order again but the app was on "confirming with California Kitchen" and a woman called which was actually helpful. She had to place us on hold then the same man got on the phone said one word and hung up! Called for the 3rd time and doesn't apologize and acknowledged anything. He must be a total moron geez. And what do you know, while on the phone it finally confirmed order FML. The shrimp pasta Was bland, the arugula salad was tiny and ok but the pizza was good. This place is way overpriced for food that isn't all that great.

I can see that they are making changes in the restaurant but who ever hired the B**** General manager needs to fire her she has no customer service at all very rude will not be coming back here, what a shame that someone hired that lady to work at this restaurant.

I been going here for many years for their signature bolognese spaghetti. It is sad to say I will never come back. My last order was horrendous. They gave me a small about of sauce and there was hardly any meat in it. I called and spoke to a manager and she told me corporate won't allow her to give more than what is measured. More minimal meat sauce would cost extra. It is sad when a business start doing this. It will never be the same. I'm sure many of the other dishes are treated the same way.
Had a good experience here with my girlfriend. The food comes quick and the service is just good. Prices are convenient.

It was a pleasant meal. Both dishes were flavorful. It was my first attempt at the Chicken Piccata. The chicken was moist and the portion was surprisingly filling. Maybe I stuffed myself a bit with the Spinach Artichoke Dip, another favorite dish of my. We also tried the Jambalaya, it the right amount of spiciness for me. Big portion of shrimp and chicken.

This place need immediate attention. During lunch only two server running the floor? Seriously? I waited 5 mins after arrive at the restaurant. The server came and didn't even greet or said sorry for the wait. After getting a tabbed I waited 10 mins to place my order. Server didn't even come to check if everything was good.dim sum was row inside. Horrible experience
