Love the flakyness of the empanadas, great flavours love the mole and chicken one.I feel like they could definitely toast the empanadas a bit more though so they're not too soft.Of the sweet ones, I liked the guava empanada. Not the friendliest of staff though but I'm guessing they were just tired?I'll be back to try the cochinita pibil one.

Stopped for an iced tea and a short rest on a long walk; a little quiet but folks were picking up special orders and items to go. Definitely coming back with friends to try many things!!

Out of this world, every empanada here is amazing. Cant wait to try em all. The pumpkin is a banger. The guava cream cheese life changed me.

I tried the guava and cream cheese empanada because where I grew up, we had guava trees everywhere but I never heard of combining quava and cream cheese. It's good! And it's not just a dab of quava jam but a couple of slices of yellow guava in there. It's a must-try.

Stopped here for lunch. The savory empanadas were amazing, great crust. And the guava with cream cheese empanada was outstanding.

So glad we stumbled upon this place! On a Tuesday (late) morning, we were the only ones in the restaurant. The interior had brightly colored walls, plenty of seating, and a casual ambiance. We each ordered two empanadas, and I chose the Mole and Mushroom with Cheese, although so many of them sounded great. Service was friendly and fast, and we ended up eating outside. Both my empanadas were fantastic! They were so filling, I was barely able to finish the two. The texture of the dough was absolutely perfect and the filling was so flavorful. The Mole was probably my favorite, but it was a close call. I also loved the green dipping sauce they came with. Will happily return to try more!

I got a tinga and a pineapple. Both were good, with even more potential. Flaky crust, a solid amount of filling, and good flavors. However about half of the tinga was cold. Kind of took away from the enjoyment.

Came to try their empanadas before watching a matinee show at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. The lady behind the counter was really nice. There were a few pieces of each kind of empanada on display which suggests that they are not mass produced. The empanadas were served warm and the Jamaica agua Fresca went well with the Tinga Empanada which is made of chicken with tomato, onion and chipotle pepper which gives it a little kick, and the Mushroom and Cheese Empanada which was a delicious vegetarian option tasted like comfort food with tomato, garlic and cheese. Would love to try some sweet empanadas with coffee next time.

I really enjoyed the spinach and cheese empanadas. It's my first time trying Mexican style empanadas. As a Filipina growing up, I've always had the Filipino style empanadas. I should've had lactaid pills on hand, because the cheese made my stomach all bubbly later on. These empanadas were a good size, I ordered two because one is not enough. For a to-go order, I got the pumpkin flavor. I didn't get to try it since I was full, but gave it to my mom. She said it was sweet and delicious! It was nice when my group and I came in when we did for lunch, because it got crowded once we started eating.

The empanadas are the best! Nice size and fair price. Tinga, ground beef with potato, and tuna are my current favs (in that order). Their horchata coffee is also really good! Service is above average. Staff is very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend :)

The rice pudding empanada goes CRAZYYYYYY. So delicious. Eating it rn and had to make a review about it cause it's so yummy. Served nice and hot too. Will go back and maybe try a savory one nextI will say it is pretty pricey tho, i could kinda justify the sweet empanada ($4) but i didn't buy a savory one bc it's almost twice the cost will try next time tho
