This non-profit organization is amazing! They give back to the community literally seven-fold! I encourage you to check out their site to find out all of the ways they minister to and assist the community. Whether it's rehabilitating men back into society to feeding the community to clothing the low income - wow. If you have the ability to volunteer time or money - I highly suggest that you do so. This is an organization that is an example of paying it forward~

I love this place. I have gone there as a volunteer and have contributed to their charity. I wanted to discuss a free meditation and transformation program which I believe will help most of the people there. I was turned down without being listened to. I wish they were more open to listening to others who want to help. This is why I have given them three stars.

I donated surplus frozen food to city team. They have a smooth drop off service open Tuesday to Friday. They also accept uncooked food and clothings in donation.

April 14, 2020 - I called, listened to the recorded menu... open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (closed for lunch) for donations. So I loaded up the car and drove there. Knowing that times are tough and trying to use this stay at home time productively I had spent the last few days going through clothing and the cupboards too.It is said no good deed goes unpunished, and if you're still reading this you know what is next. Closed because of COVID-19. Come on, change your phone message!!What a waste of my time. It was tempting to just dump it all on the sidewalk as there are lots of piles of clothing, broken furniture, bicycles parts, tents and tarps all over the surrounding area, but I did not. I saw no need to make another mess for someone to eventually have to clean up. I am currently debating on unloading the bags and boxes from the car directly into the dumpster (by where I park) vs. caring up the steps...

Clothing drop off is only Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm. Closed on 1st and 3rd Thursday. This is just for clothes/food drop off. I dont know the timings for other stuff.

CityTeam saved me from a life of addiction, taught me how to live and be of service to others. They took my in when my life was at it's lowest. I cannot express my gratitude with just words.

Amazing serviceyesteday a group of us went there as part of a service project - during the help with interviewing sessions, got to hear a couple of turnaround stories who echoed some very distinct themes that stuck with me, Empathy, Resilience and Giving back.The giving back was a surprise (perhaps just to me) given their life experiences of addiction, abuse and poverty.One graduate of the program attributed getting a positive attitude on society directly as a result of the CityTeam program. He said "i was always angry before" and didn't want to be brainwashed by anyone. Now he's turned around his life and best wishes to all!
