Come for strawberry cake. I cannot get it every time especially on Weekends. It’s better to call them and reserve.

Clover Bakery & Cafe is cute and neat! It has a variety of pastries and drinks with good portion and reasonable price.
It's located in the super popular Mitsuwa Marketplace along with Teaspoon, Tomi Sushi and others. If you come here in the weekend, prepare to spend at least 15 minutes or more to look for parking. May the odds forever in your favor
That being said, you'll be rewarded when you step inside Clover Bakery! The store looks inviting with an aisle against the wall with all the pastries you can imagine in your life. There's a table in the middle too with extra goodies and delicious stuff. Grab a tray and a tongue and the bakery is now your oyster! Go roaming and come back and share what you got
There is very limited seating inside. Only a tiny table and two chairs so it's mostly grab and go at this bakery. I came on a Saturday at noon and the store was not crowded at all.
I got a peach danish, a spam musubi, a chocolate chip green tea round puff and a strawberry milk. There was a bench just right outside of the store so my friend and I sat there and enjoyed our finds.
I liked their spam musubi. The rice was moist and fragrant! The spam had the nice flavors and kicks. Everything worked well together and was comforting to eat. The strawberry milk was refreshing and not too sweet (which is the best compliment an Asian can give )
Perhaps because I didn't have chance to try the peach danish and the chocolate green tea puff till a day later, they didn't taste that spectacular to me.
Overall, it was a nice experience visiting Clover Bakery, minus the parking headache.

Japanese snacks, pastries and sandwiches are all great.
My son had an event and we were in an hurry. Entered at 8am right at door open and ordered and was told that we need to wait for 10 minutes. Asked if there was any other option since we were in a hurry. The answer was no. Waited outside the store for more than 10 minutes and found people started to carry onigiri out but we were not called. Went inside the store and checked if our order was ready, the cashier shouted at us, “told you need to wait for 10 minutes!” I showed her the time, “it already passed 10 minutes”. “Not ready is not ready!” Shouted again. I don’t understand first of all , why the kitchen not prepare the orders first instead of making some random food that maybe no one will order right now. The second one is why they shout at customers. I feel embarrassed just because I Ned to ask when the food is ready while I waited for that long, and I was in a hurry. Not recommended, not going again.
Came in on at 8:30am on a Wednesday, no problems parking in the free parking lot area.
Food was great, there's an assortment of Japanese snack foods from rice based onigiri, even musubis, to typical bread combinations found in many Japanese stores. Drinks like coffee, tea and others were also available.
I ordered a croquette burger (usually potatoes and other veg, fried), a shrimp cutlet burger, beef curry bun, and a couple of slamon & ikura (salmon roe) onigiri. Everything was lovely.
Service was great, note that there are no dine-in options. But the cashier was patient as we were asking clarifications on our orders for the onigiri and other bread that was avaialble and about to be ready.
Atmosphere is a bit more frantic because the place had just opened and all the customers wanted to get fresh bread and onigiri. But overall solid an pleasant.
Parking was challenging, line out the door with people waiting for part of their order outside. It was a unique set up with no assistance from staff just a small bakery stuffed with customers. Small signs saying not how are you limited 4 items which was confusing. The various items it was rather messy with ingredients spilling out and the sandwich- you have to sit down to enjoy one but causes everything to spew out the sides
This is a cute little bakery that manages to sell so many delicious products in such a small space.
The right wall is filled with delicious pastries, the most delightful raisin buns and other packaged items are displayed on the middle table , the front counter is where you can find sushi and other items that need refrigeration, and FINALLY , on the left hand wall is the coffee counter where they sell a delicious banana mocha.
Clover bakery is located in a shopping pocket that also has a Daiso and Mitsuwa grocery store .
When you're in the area, be sure to try out this bakery!!!

Really really cute local bakery. No glitz or glam, but very quaint and sweet. After covid, the bakery only offers to-go service.
Food and drinks here are super affordable and some of the best value! It's like 3 dollars for a sandwich with a fried pork cutlet!
All the savory bread and rice balls are delicious and super filling. They have a large variety of rice balls. Just beware their spicy tuna is no joke.
Coffee is average but for 3.25 for a latte or 2.75 for a green tea latte, it's such a good deal! Not overly sweet either.
Highly recommend: Fish roe bread, beef ginger and spicy mushroom ornigiri, any of the sandwiches with cutlets, and the green tea cafe latte.
