This truck was gaining a lot of attention on local news outlets for its ginormous birria taco (literally a pizza-size folded in half), so I decided to give it a try.The place it's in has plenty of street parking, and when we went on a Tuesday night, there was no line. I opted for the three-taco combo with consome. Note here: my review is based on us bringing this to-go home, not having dined there.I think the birria was tasty, but the consome lacked the depth of flavor I was expecting. And unlike other spots I've tried, I feel like the tacos were less packed with meat. Overall, this wouldn't be my first spot to go to for birria, but locally, it's not a bad spot.

My husband and I went last night at around 10 pm, my husband was waiting in line and for someone to take his order for over 10 minutes (no one infront of us) she would just stare at us and he asked multiple times if he could order. I went into the car with our son after I ordered two quesibirria with a side of rice. Not only did they give us a wrong order she also way overpriced charged us and even charged us for beans that we didn’t even receive or order. It was late and we were already home when we noticed. We tasted our food and yes the birria was delicious but as soon as I opened my rice (which was ice cold) and dipped my birria in the consume I Almost threw up, the consume tasted old and rot. My husbands stomach did not stop hurting all night. It was way too expensive to the fact we couldn’t even eat the food. When I warmed up the rice it was also old and tasted bad. Never go, customer service is the worse and the food is expensive and bad like get you sick bad and old.

Sooooo good! The best birria I've had in such a long time.I usually don't eat at food trucks but it was really worth the try. It's definitely a once in a while kind of meal though, but I'll definitely be back!

I don't know how to feel. First off, I ordered birria keto tacos (not pictured). They didn't even look like tacos and the cheese was incredibly burnt. I've had keto birria tacos from other places and they were amazing, so I was pretty disappointed when I tried the ones here. The birria tacos were decent, but the birria ramen was the best item we ordered.I will say the aguas frescas were a disappointment. We tried the cucumber lemon one, and it tasted very artificial. We then ordered the watermelon one, hoping for better, and it was the same thing. I'm not sure if I'll be back, especially with all the other birria spots in San José.

Birria was very salty, cashier forgot the sauce and had a bad attitude, guess her phone is more important. This place fell off.

Hearing of this place from word of mouth to social media, I was excited to come check this place out. Unfortunately, my expectations fell short and seemed the overall experience seemed more of the "hype".Ordered a Quesobirria (that came with complimentary chips, radish and onion mix) with a side of consume. It was a slow Sunday at the Flea market early on with others slowly trickling their way to the food trucks and we still had to wait about 30~35minutes for our food. While the Quesobirria was very cheesy and packed with meat, the consume was very thin and a little bland.

Come hungry. Challenge yourself with the giant taco! It's $30. They don't skim on the meat! Whether you share with a friend or a loved one, or have it all by yourself, it's worth the money. The habanero mango sauce is refreshing. The tipping sauce is great. The $7 watermelon juice is a refreshing beverage. It's sweet, but not too sweet. It's just right. Great for the summer!
