The food here comes out quickly, which is perfect when you’re ready to dig in without a long wait. Portions are just right—not overwhelming, but enough to leave you completely satisfied.

The side dishes were a standout for me—they taste fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I especially loved the pickled cucumbers; they were crisp, tangy, and added a bright, refreshing contrast to the main dishes. It’s little touches like that which make the meal feel elevated and memorable.

Overall, the combination of speedy service, perfectly sized portions, and fresh, flavorful sides makes this spot a reliable and enjoyable choice. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or something a bit more indulgent, the quality and attention to detail really shine through. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.

I drove by here multiple times and finally decided to give it a try. After a barbershop appointment, I stopped by. Ordered the hot stone bibimbap and man, it was soo good! I also ordered the vegetable pancake, and it was flaky and warm! So good!! Will definitely be coming here more often! Service was super attentive and very kind.

Service is always prompt, kind, and friendly. Never had a wait at lunch. I've had almost exclusively only the Beef Soondubu for a few months and its quality has turned out to be consistently excellent. Side dishes are also tasty, and refills are generously offered. Authentic!

My favorite Korean spot in San Jose! I feel grateful that I don't have to go to Santa Clara or Sunnyvale to get my dolsot bimbimbap or yukaejang!

The service is also super awesome, kind and generous. This has been my go-to spot for years. So happy they are open and serving awesome Korean food. This coming from a Korean girl who grew up eating her mom's and grandma's home cooking!

Lovely find! Seems like a regular restaurant beside a busy road. However, once you enter the restaurant, you are nicely greeted by kind ladies and seated immediately. The food was fast yet fresh. Portions are great. Will definitely return with family and friends.

What a great restaurant. I often go to the Korean restaurants on El Camino Real but decided on this day to try Danbi based on the reviews I read. I was happy I decided to try something new. First, the restaurant is very clean and well kept. Also, the two ladies who were serving were incredibly friendly and even spoke English well. Next, the food was spot on. I ordered the seafood pancake and yookgaejang - which is a spicy shredded beef stew. Man, the flavor was delicious. It was hearty, not too spicy, and the ingredients tasted really fresh. The sides were also all very good. The seafood pancake was also good, but I did wish it was a bit thicker for the price. All in all, it was a great find and I'll be coming here regularly when I visit for work. Highly recommend! Go check them out!!

The food was truly amazing and had lots of flavor. The customer service was even better. I had the rice cakes and soy glazed fried chicken and they were both delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try other things from the menu!

It's a solid choice if you're craving Korean food and are nearby. The service is quick, attentive, and friendly. Their menu features most dishes commonly found in Korean restaurants. The food is not particularly remarkable; it has seasoning and flavor but nothing exceptional.

Finding a parking spot may be tricky since it's on the first street. I suggest heading directly to the parallel streets to park and walking a little, so you don't waste time and can enjoy the scenery.
