El Amigo offers a cozy atmosphere, both inside and out, with a menu that has everything. The service is excellent, with accommodating staff and great drinks. The restaurant is kid-friendly and has wheelchair accessibility. The food is generally great, with highlights like the alambre and cilantro-topped salsa. While some dishes, like the carnitas, may be a miss, the portions are large and the value is good. The Machaca is delicious and one of the best. The Posole and Pazole soup were also praised, though the meat in the Pazole was a little chewy. The chips and salsa were hot and fresh, with a nice flavor, though a bit thinner than preferred.
