Love this place! I only get one thing....the Original Pollo Bowl for $5, sometimes I make it a combo (chips or tortillas and a drink) which is only $2 more. Best deal in town BY FAR! Nice people, I go there at least twice a week. I wouldn't call it fast food because they grill the chicken, it's not like you're buying something thawed out and served from a microwave.

I made the mistake of thinking all Pollo Loco's are the same (fast food chain mentality). They're NOT! The best PL is on the corner of White and Story, no question. The people working in the kitchen run a tight ship and everything is cooked and made to perfection 👌 I go through the drive-thru so I can't really speak to the restaurant dine-in atmosphere, but the drive-through staff are great.

For many years I have been a customer of Pollo Loco, and visited many locations throughout the state of California.But this San Jose Pollo Loco on White Rd and Story Rd is the best around!Service, quality, attention, cleanliness, good, everything in general!Excellent staff!
