Great sandwiches, soups, and sides. Fast and friendly service! Pilgrims Progress is my favorite (turkey, avocado, and sprouts)

I was having trouble on ordering online, so I didn't hit the pay button and went to the store. Of course they can't find my order, but they were so kind and patiently trying their best to help me out. Once they found out the reason they didn't have my order, they told me to wait a little and they did it in no time at all.
I tried different Erik's in San Jose and Mt. View but I think they have the freshest food and the best! That's why I always go back to this one Erik's Deli Cafe located in Orhard Town Center on Cottle Road, no matter how far I was away from it.
I had Abbott's Habit because it has the least calories. I had tried their Clam Chowder soup before too, delicious!

My first order was so delicious, that I ordered from them again only a couple of days later! The roast beef is tender and flavorful, the pickles are perfect, and the bread is delicious. Fantastic fresh made soups as well. Can’t wait for my next experience!

I appreciate coming to Erik's because it somewhat beats Panera in my opinion. The ingredients taste fresh and I love the small side of pickle added into my take out. Staff is always friendly at this location. Make sure to sign up for their rewards for free desserts! Also budget friendly, especially in this economy...

Great team at this Erik's on Cottle. I have been shifting to more fresh food and Erik's does not disappoint. Usually order their hearty and healthy soups. Today I got a strawberry chicken salad. So fresh. The staff exemplify excellent customer service and impressed with orders are quick. Reconsider fast food choices and choose Erik's!

This one of the places that serves butternut squash soup all year. It is a thinner version than what it used to be. Today I got the pot size as takeout. I cannot taste it as I'm sick, but I ordered it previously 2 days ago, and it was good.

In general, I like Erik's Delicafe and their sandwiches and will be back.

Ordered two “bag” lunches and thought it would be swell to get a cup of chili. Got home no chili in bag looked up website and called Erik’s directly. No answer. Left message but cut off early before I could give contact information. Super frustrating. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!!! Don’t go. Rip off. Establishment steals money.

Don't go to this place if you want a hot sandwich. Unlike the other locations, this one does not have a toaster oven and uses a standard microwave. The bread winds up being soggy and chewy. No issues if you're going to get a cold sandwich. Employees were friendly and prompt but the food is not on par with other Eric's deli's. I verified with one of the employees that they do not have a toaster oven.

Erik’s is a great place to eat. I have eaten at 4 different locations, totaling over 200 visits. I eat here at least once a week. Their soups are outstanding, my favorite is the tomato. The chili is also excellent. Their sandwiches are fresh, with most covered in sprouts. My favorite for a light meal is the pilgrims progress with light onions and extra sprouts. When I’m really hungry I go with the Cali Classico. The dub club is great for kind of an in between. I can’t recommend this place enough!

This has been a childhood favorite of our family’s forever and after I moved away I have missed their sandwiches. Every time I am back in town I make sure to stop in for lunch. I seem to always order the Pilgrim’s Progress. (Turkey avocado, sprouts on squaw bread). It is loaded.
