I was strolling a long and I saw in the corner of my eye a Denny’s! then I said let’s go eat, and then I ordered the soup! I can’t believe it there was p*** in my soup.

We were here for breakfast. And actually ended up coming back for dinner because we couldn't get in any where else that night. The wait staff is sloppy looking: shirts untucked, pants dragging (I realize they're busy) but this looks bad. My coffee cup was dirty, my silverware was dirty, both times that we were there. The food was just okay.

The ambiance was family comfortable and spacious with a separate bar area where we ate. Service was attentive and quite pleasant. The menu was varied and both entrees were excellent. Prices seemed reasonable.

Not only is this a restaurant but is an annex to a first rate butcher shop. Steve the owner is part of Oakdale, always has your back, he will bend over backwards to make it right for You.

Kadee is a great waitress, knowlegeable and fun to have wait on you. The tri-tip is always just the way you want. You have soup (choice of 2) and salad prior to your sandwich with fries. Wow! great feast and always plenty to bring home.

I ate here once, and tried to eat there a second time but there was no one available to seat me. Pretty bad even by Denny's standards

The place to go for when you have the " Need of I want A Big Thick Steak"! Good size portions, plan to leave with a full belly. Decent local place.

I opted to have the build your own menu. Added an extra item that had 99c next to it. When I came to pay the bill I realised that they had added the 99c and an extra $1.29 for having one slice of ham! This is ridiculous and should be explained when adding an extra item as I did not realise it from the menu. When I queried it the lady who had served me spoke to me like I was stupid. I found her rude and brash. Would not go back and I am often in San Jose!

It seems that many of the Denny’s suffer from the same problem which is lack of people to give even marginally decent service. This location had one person doing greeting, cashier, busboy, server, and Lord knows what else. Phone kept ringing all during our dinner and was ignored. Food was standard Denny’s fare, which is to say it’s decent, certainly not inspired, but decent value for what you get.

Very nice and charm local atmosphere. Butcher shop where you can see what is later on your plate. Reasonable price for steak and wine. I enjoyed the dinner and bought some spices and marinade.
I had dinner here one night on a layover before a flight. I ordered the Super Bird meal with coffee and was very pleased. Despite only three tables being occupied, the server never checked back on me and I had to go find him to get my check so I could leave.

We were sort of stranded at this Denny's since we were staying at the hotel next door. However, it was quite decent and friendly, and the seasonal turkey dinner special wasn't bad. It's not fine dining, but it's a decent meal.

It took forever for a waitress to greet me. Wouldn't go back. Food was OK. Service was horrible. Staff didn't seem to care or be concerned.

Had to wait for a table in front of 4 of their staff staring at me. No alcohol served. Asked me 2 or 3 times to confirm the order and then mixed them up. No refill. T-Bone served over cooked instead of medium and it’s $17. Loonnng wait. If that’s the best Denny’s around as I was told, then don’t go to Denny’s.

We were all hungry after taking an early morning flight into San Jose. My husband chose Denny’s, but I had low expectations. ** I was pleasantly surprised though ** We were seated right away. Juan took our drink orders with a smile. Connie waited on us, got our orders right, and the food was very tasty. We especially liked the French toast and sausage links. Yum! So we got really good service, food was tasty, and restaurant was in decent shape. I would go again.
