One of my favorite spots in town! Great service from the owner and staff. The food is very diverse with more generous portions. All of the sauces are house made! Definitely recommend!

FLAVOR (3.5/5): We ordered philly cheesesteak sandwiches and they were loaded with cheese, a bit too much cheese for me! A decent amount of meat but the bread wasn't anything special. INSTAGRAM WORTHY (3/5): The shop itself is in the corner of one of the San Pedro square buildings so pretty hidden. The food itself by the picture wasn't anything mind blowing! SERVICE (4/5): Food didn't take too long to make, self order on the screen and they'll text you when it's done! TAKEAWAYS: Not the best cheesesteak sandwich I've had!

Terrible food. Employees seem to be out of their minds

The wings here are some of the best I've EVER HAD. Meaty, crispy, perfectly coated in sauce. These are the perfect wings. Mango habanero is delicious but pretty spicy, so beware. Honey bbq is also great. Any sauce would be great on these, they're so juicy and well cooked.

Pretty bad service. Pretty rude. Food is bad too

Ultimately, I'm trying to review every single restaurant in San Pedro Square, and today was Gameday's turn. Naturally, I thought it appropriate to visit a restaurant named Gameday on one of the biggest game days in recent San Francisco 49ers' history, the 2023 NFC Playoff Divisional game.San Pedro Square still remains my default location for Bay Area community events because of the environment's dynamic range of features, one of which is providing a large viewing venue for sporting events (which it did recently for the World Cup as well). For a classic gridiron match up, I wanted some traditional sports bar food, which is one of many options for event viewers. You could choose pizza (already reviewed by me), or burgers (also already reviewed by me), but nothing says Gameday like some classic bone in wings. For this reason, Gameday was my obvious eatery of choice for this particular occasion. The ordering process was as smooth as it could be considering the sheer chaos that was the venue. Gameday seems to take advantage of every technological advantage available to a restaurant, which the same can be said for many of the other restaurants in this space.Although, Gameday doesn't just leverage the tech, the tech also validates a quality of service that is demanded of places in this venue. With that said, they have an un-personed (stay woke ?) ordering station that enables a non-stop stream of self service orders. The experience is straight forward and requires a phone number to transform your cellular device into a restaurant buzzer, which has the added advantage of sending text updates versus simply buzzing.Because of the tech, I couldn't help but track the order-to-delivery time, both of which receive confirmations via text message. 21 MINUTES!!! Are you serious?! That was spectacular! I ordered extra crispy, bone-in, traditional buffalo wings without interacting with anyone, in the middle of a huge event, and they delivered my food in twenty-one minutes. That is great service. The wings, awesome, but expensive, but still awesome. For a bar food experience in an open community setting, nothing really does it like Gameday. It's got all the classics, and even though there's some extra cost for the venue experience added in, the experience is worth it.

Located in San Pedro square, I finally got to try GameDay. The name does this place justice. Typical of your gameday foods: philly cheesesteaks, loaded fries, wings, sliders even salads. I opted for the regular sliders and a 6 piece wings. I will say the wings are pricey, 6 piece was about $15 but they packed a punch! Usually I typically go for the spiciest of options & here it was the mango habanero. Definitely for those who can handle the spice! The sliders were well cooked and fries were crispy, what more to ask for.

Chicken sandwich was not crispy and didn't have much flavor.

I came here to watch a World Cup game, and it took them literally 1 hour to have my food ready. Every time I asked about my food he said "10 more minutes". After 1 hour I asked for my money back then he said that they had already issued a refund!! So he gave a refund to some random customer's credit/debit card without confirming it was the correct order number. He said he couldn't give me a refund because he had already given a refund. That made me upset because I just didn't want my food anymore, I wanted my money back. The fries and garlic on the fries were way too hard and a bit on the burnt side! We didn't even get our corn dogs or condiments :( Although I feel bad for the employees because there weren't that many employees working on a really busy day. But they should've had more people working. FYI, I wasn't the only customer who waited an hour for food. This was my first time eating here so maybe they were having a bad day, I don't know.

Absolutely LOVE everything on their menu so far I've enjoyed the Philly cheese steak sandwich with no mushrooms. The garlic fries and the buffalo wings. All so delicious!!!

Food is okay, nothing to write home about. The employees are something though, literally the rudest guys I have ever met. One practically shoved my husband out of the way to get by him, no excuse or sorry was said. The tablet to order on was not working and we asked an employee, he rudely said to use the tablet. If he was listening to what I said he would've realized it was off. Such a mess and I could make this kind of food at home so definitely a hard pass
