Food is great, the people are better. Ann and Steven are crushing it and as the name would suggest, if you're looking to have a good time—you can count on finding it at Goodtime Bar.

Goodtime bar is all the things an establishment should be. Knowledgeable staff, amazing selection and everything is served with a real sense of pride and love. The small bites and charcuterie is next level perfection, the owner and staff love what they do and greet you with a smile.

The food is just so, so good. I've been dipping my toes into slightly fancier food recently and this is the only place Ive been where I felt like everything I ate was genuinely fantastic. Got a bunch of the dishes, and not a single bite of any of them fell flat. I'll be back.

A rather abnormal wine bar in downtown SJ that feels like it belongs to Saratoga or Los Gatos. A petite wine bar that serves exquisite appetizers that keeps you wanting more. The price is the only stopping power. At $14 a glass and $25+ for the finer food, they could add up. Still, I found no better place to explore in DT SJ. If the neighbor could keep up with this wine bar, San Jose would be a much better place.Very limited seating, but you are welcome to stand.

Very cute, clean, modern ambiance. If you're into natural wines, this is your place. If you haven't acquired a taste for it, it may not be for the price point. Didn't try the food, so I can not speak on that. I'm glad I tried it, but nearly $50 (including tip) for three glasses isn't something I'll be doing again.Other than that, the atmosphere was good, and customer service was great.

Honestly one of the greatest spots in all of San Jose. The wine is lovely, but most importantly, the staff is incredible and the food is perfection. 10/10. They have really talented folks running this place, and I’m always impressed. Go there and treat yourself to a really special experience

An incredible place to get some tasty natural wine, but the star of the show for me is the food. Imaginative, beautiful and delicious you can always expect a great

Been multiple times hoping for a better experience, the wines continue to underwhelm and at $14 a glass it doesn’t track. I keep hoping for a different experience but for the prices they’re asking, every glass should be a home run. Just came back from France and Spain, reinvigorated on natural wine, but this was a somewhat familiar reminder of why we haven’t wanted to revisit goodtime. Worked in the wine industry for years and would also appreciate a staff who seemed more knowledgeable.

Natural wine bars have become more and more popular (especially in SF/NY/LA), and SJ finally has one that I dare say is one of the coolest new spots in town.Food, while mainly small plates, were surprisingly all very good and well made (I feel like wine bar food can be pretty hit or miss). For the wine, they pour glasses from 4 bottles each night (red, orange, rose, and white). I tried 3 of them and they were all easy to drink with a slight bit of funk. The decor/ambiance is also on point (rattan seats + slats), and you cold tell from the younger crowd. We'll be back!

I love love Goodtime bar! Their natural wines are really tasty and it feels nice that I know that I'm drinking good stuff. They're super nice and let you try the wines before committing to a glass. If you go, I'd recommend the olives and dole whip float ! Dole whip + wine ? Yes !We even bought some to drink at home !
