Hyde Park Lounge is one of those hole-in-the-wall places you find randomly. It’s a ton of fun!

Bar only, no food service, although Smokin Pig BBQ is next door and will deliver. Good neighborhood bar. Bartenders are nice and attentive. Friendly local crowd and good drink prices. Beers are cold and the shots are plentiful. Stephanie and Tiffany are my favorite bartenders.

Service was quick since there weren't that many people in there, it's small and dingy, it's a dive bar. It sucks cause you have to pay the jukebox to hear music and when nobody pays its quiet ? there is a pool table and a dart board and also outside seating! I'll be back there.

What a great “dive” in the heart of San Jose. Unlike the sterility of “downtown” bars, Hyde Park is a locals spot replete with the flavor and ambiance of the better parts of San Jose. Doesn’t hurt it shares parking with the Smoking Pig, some of the best South Bay BBQ you’ll find. Great place, people, vibe, and location. Highly recommended!!
