I have loved this place for years. It hasn't changed and I mean that in the best possible way. Many years ago we had our wedding rehearsal dinner here for out-of-town guests, and even though it was a preset menu, the food was very fresh and the service is delightful. Came here for a pre-opera dinner, food is even better than I remembered, Just an overall lovely experience.

We and our guest had a great time. Our server Jerimi was truly remarkable and attentive to our ever needs. He even went out of his way to request a dish that wasn't on the menu. The food that we ordered were delicious and ambiance was amazing. We will definitely come back to this place the next time we are in San Jose.

After the San Jose Symphony performance Sunday afternoon, my wife and I had an outstanding meal at Il Fornaio in the Westin Hotel. We were immediately seated at a very nice table when they opened at 5pm. To start, we shared a delicious beet salad My wife then ordered the salmon and I ordered the gnocchi with mushrooms and wild boar. The wait staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Both meals were cooked to perfection, exceptionally flavorful, and absolutely outstanding!...
