Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. The couple we were with asked for water, and it never came. The servers were not at all attentinve. The food was cold. This is not what we expect or have experienced at Il Fornaio in the past. It was very disappointing since this was a special occasions

The service staff was very attentive. Everything was good except the food. It feels like the food was prepared off site and the local kitchen only heat them up. With the slow business I witnessed on a Saturday lunch, may be they have to usr an off site kitchen to stay in business.

Jeremy has to be one of the best managers in Silicon Valley. He tries to remember returning guests' names. He is always checking on tables, making sure everything is good with food and service. I was a little surprised that he is the head manager. He takes this restaurant's make-it-personal responsibility, making sure the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently. I was shocked that he is not the head manager. Ehab, a seasoned restaurant employee with over two decades...
