I was actually impressed with this place. Not in the nicest neighborhood (witnessed a drug deal right across the street like if they were selling ice-cream in the open), but the food was amazing. The staff made you feel very welcomed and were very attentive (and patient with our party of 16). The chefs were super funny and encouraged participation, and our busboy was super cool and helpful. Prices were reasonable for it being the San Jose area, and the little bar near the entrance...
One of my favorite spots. Great food, great service, and the small space makes it feel intimate without being too cramped. I recommend calling ahead to save a spot. So happy it’s still open after all this time.
I’ve been coming here on and off for about 15 years. This is my go-to spot when I’m craving Japanese food. The menu has so many options it’s hard to choose, but I always go for the sushi bento—it’s delicious and reasonably priced. Never disappoints, and the tempura is amazing too!
