I stopped by to get some dinner togo or the family after the vegetarian place next door. The guy recommended the spare ribs and it did look good. As we are having the meal, the spare rib smells not fresh. Two of us had terrible diarrhea later that night. The only common food we had was the spare rib. The place is not fresh.

Somewhere mentioned this place needs you to speak Mandarin, find out this is Fast Chinese Food. You can point to order, and choices of big or small boxes, that’s it! Warm food and/or cool food, both ready to eat. Use cash preferred, credit card payment will be charged with extra transaction fee.

I don't understand all the negative reviews. This is a TAKEOUT Chinese place-- what service are you expecting from them? The place is located inside a small strip mall. It's literally the main building and there's a sign above the entrance that says "jia jia" and only one Chinese restaurant inside so I don't understand how people on here are complaining they can't find it. I always go for their bentos. For about $11 you can get an entree and your choice of two sides. Or if you add another two dollars you can get 3 sides instead. They really stack up the food. They even give you complimentary soup. There's a wide variety to choose from and the food is authentic. Some dishes can be a bit salty and greasy but that's Chinese cuisine for you. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend this place, as I've been coming for years.

I am surprised to see the 3 stars, this place only deserve 1 star. Everything is cold, we got stomach problem after having their food. They must have always sell their leftover food. They are expensive too.

Great place for authentic Shanghai and other regional food. Prices are low and the quality is just very good. Hard to find competition.

I've come here twice now to get some bentos to go. I think the service is hit-or-miss: the first time I came here, the server was very nice and explained how it all worked. Last time, the server was a little snarky since there wasn't anyone else to help me and I interrupted her break. The food is decent, though I'd advise you to come earlier since they stop cooking around 5:30 or 6. I've used their meal certificates, and it can be used for the 3 item combo, i.e. rice and 3 dishes with a small side of soup. I think any dish you get here will be decent, like the Chinese food courts at Ranch 99 or Marina Foods. The portions are pretty good, I usually can eat it for two meals. I think this is a decent place if you want to a quick Chinese meal to go.

The food was good and the service was good. I have lived here for a year and now I feel like I have lost out not knowing I could just pop in and out. All that matters now is that i know.

Great buns. Decent takeout fast Chinese food. You gotta speak Chinese though, or they can't serve you.

Great meat baos and dumplings here! Competitively priced, especially for the area. They also sell zongzhis (Shanghai styled ones, no yolk) that are good too. You can skip the red bean baos though, not sweet enough imo.

Another place that does not show respect for what they serve. Ordered 3 things: Wantons, scallion fried noodles and beef noodle soup. Wantons were a big mush lumped together. To take each one out of the lump to eat it means tearing the wanton skin and the filling falling out. Scallion fried noodles was a plate of boiled noodles sitting in oil, topped with a back sauce with burnt scallions. Nothing else. The beef noodle soup did not have beef, only some "fat trimmings" with noodles and some weird tasting broth.

1. Came to get to-go bentos for 3 times the past 2-3 years. Gave them chances but still bad service with no improvement. I was ignored and needed to wait for them preparing and packing food for phone orders in order to get a simple greeting. 2. Food was oily and salty. When ordering food, the lady was murmuring something I couldn't understand. Not sure if complaining I took "few seconds" to see what to get. Kinda mean. I paid for food but deserve the attitude? 3. Saw the chef's mask wasn't wore properly during pandemic. Won't come back again. Period.
