10/10. Just amazing. The noodles and broth were delightful. Now I will say the chicken I had was a bit bland for me. I’d for sure come back.

I usually enjoy Jinya, but this visit was very disappointing. Our server was extremely rude and impatient with us throughout the meal. Near closing time, he brought us to-go boxes without asking, making it clear he wanted us to leave right at 10pm. We still left within about 5 minutes after closing, but the attitude made the whole experience uncomfortable. I hope management addresses this, because the food is good, but the service we received was unacceptable.

Ordered the spicy creamy V ramen, spicy chicken ramen.
Both were very tasty and a good quantity. Had tofu spinach and spice. Service was quick, didn't have to wait long.

Sooo bomb and spicy the thick noodles are chewy and so so yummy 100/10 would recommend the tonkatsu red ramen level 2!

It may be called the Impossible rice bowl but the real star of the bowl is not the Impossible ground. Crispy tempura batter, creamy chickpeas, rich curry, and fluffy rice combine into the perfect bite.

Service was friendly. It did take a bit of time to get the food but it was worth the wait.

One of my favorite vegan friendly spots in town.

I’d been craving ramen for a long time and found this restaurant with an interesting menu. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The food was expensive but not very flavorful.

We ordered the shrimp tempura, which was super delicious, but the spicy chicken ramen was disappointing — it wasn’t spicy at all, even though we asked for medium spice.

Overall, I wouldn’t really recommend this place. There are probably better and tastier ramen bars in San Jose. 🍜

Excellent food. The JINYA Aburi Oshi-Sushi was delicious and I had to get a second round, even though I was full.
That is worth the wait and visit. The prices are reasonable for the area. The wait is long and they keep half the outside seating closed while people were waiting for over half an hour.
The waiters were very friendly but preoccupied ensuring that food was ready near the kitchen than attending to the customer needs at the table.

Ordered an extra serving of impossible meat for a to-go order. I had paid extra for that but didn’t receive it in my order

However, what is not forgivable is that they fried the broccolinis with the rubber band attached. I can only imagine the kind of food safety protocols that are followed if they do not bother to remove the rubber band before frying up leafy veggies. I don’t trust that they even bother to wash the veggies if they don’t even bother removing the rubber band.

Meh ramen, average service. Went here on a random date with my wife. My ramen was straight bad. The drinks were ok, the server was annoyed in general even though we were kind.

In the end, I returned my ramen, still got charged for it and order a different ramen which was also very mid. No redeeming qualities, will not be going here again.
