JT Express is in Japantown so parking can be a little hard if you don't want to play for metered parking. There is parking off the main street if you don't mind a little walk. The restaurant is pretty small, only one table for sitting inside, but it's more of a togo place in my opinion. Lots of fun foods to try and eat. I love their sushirito selection and the crab salad in their California rolls. My guilty pleasure is their Kahlua fries/tots, so comforting whenever I need a pick me up. I also love their party snack mix, which is a hit whenever I bring it to a party or when I'm snacking alone. Their ice cream is also such a great treat for a hot day. Overall, you can't go wrong since they have such a wide variety of things to eat. They get super busy during the weekend nights so if you want to grab something, expect to wait maybe 45 minutes for your order (plan ahead!).

Quick, delicious, and super convenient. No bad things to say. Plus a great price for the food

Went in on a whim while looking for dinner. Ended up not eating there but did get a taiyaki. It was delicious. It came out crispy and hot, the red bean paste was not too sweet and perfectly complemented the bread. Very much worth the price. The only thing I would say to the restaurant is that when I entered there were two cashiers and both looked very excited to see a customer. It is great people are enthusiastic, but it was a bit off-putting but that could also just be me so I am not letting it affect the rating.

This is a very nice place to have a snack, they have three different flavors of butter mochi and full meals as well as snacks, ice cream, and pastries. Even beer.Their spicy mayo isn't just mayo with sriracha mixed in, it's far better than the mayo+sriracha I make at home.As a bonus, they have the best cherry tree on the street out front, it's blossoming like crazy this time of year.

My go to place for ice cream that you can bite into. Reliably has green tea ice cream and the only place I know of San Jose that will often have lavender ice cream.

My favorite restaurant in Japantown! I love their sushi burritos, especially the "Summer" filling. The butter mochi is yummy and they have a variety of flavors on rotation. They have a solid and diverse menu, lots to choose from.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian sushi burrito has a great combination of fillings (not just basic cucumber) and has gotten great reviews from my vegetarian friend.

I ordered the salmon cucumber avocado sushiritto and a side of miso soup. The roll had some edamame and pickled ginger in it too! Came in person on a Wednesday at lunch time, it wasn’t busy at all. Nice fresh ingredients, wish there was more cucumber. I should have gotten a more vinegar-y dip instead of the unagi sauce, which got cloying after a few bites. Lots of salmon and avo in the roll!

First time having a Sushi Burritos. There are two vegetarian friendly burritos on the menu and I chose the Cali Ritos. Is a big sushi roll but in burritos shape. Give a try if you never had Japanese Burritos. I believe you won’t found it in Japan.

Got the Bento Box with Chx Katsu & Curry and also a Spam Musbui. You order and they'll bring it out to you. A couple of small tables outside. Waiting maybe 10 minutes but it made to order so it's worth it. Food was good.

I ordered through doordash and got the Chicken Teriyaki. HORRIBLE! The chicken teriyaki did not look like anything like the pictures on yelp or on doordash! IT WAS RAW!!! Avoid this at all cost on doordash and in person!

JT Express Hit the spot. We had been wanting to try for some time and finally did. They did not disappoint. We had their breakfast bowls and it was fantastic. You can’t go wrong with spam, rice, eggs, and tots. Everything was cooked perfect. The tots were nice and crunchy. Plenty of good comfort food. It was a great portion size as well. I’m so glad we found this. We will be back again!

Lots of different options for food at this cute little place in Japantown! I ended up going with a lot of savory: takoyaki were perfectly crisp on the outside and steaming hot on the inside with a good amount of octopus inside and half the summer sushirrito. The half-size sushiritto was plenty of food, and the ingredients of cucumber, avocado, and salmon were super fresh. The rice to ingredient ratio was great as well.
