JT Express is in Japantown so parking can be a little hard if you don't want to play for metered parking. There is parking off the main street if you don't mind a little walk. The restaurant is pretty small, only one table for sitting inside, but it's more of a togo place in my opinion. Lots of fun foods to try and eat. Went in on a whim while looking for dinner. Ended up not eating there but did get a taiyaki. It was delicious. It came out crispy and hot, the red bean paste was not too sweet and perfectly complemented the bread. Very much worth the price. The only thing I would say to the restaurant is that when I entered there were two cashiers and both looked very excited to see a customer. This is a very nice place to have a snack, they have three different flavors of butter mochi and full meals as well as snacks, ice cream, and pastries. Even beer.Their spicy mayo isn't just mayo with sriracha mixed in, it's far better than the mayo+sriracha I make at home.As a bonus, they have the best cherry tree on the street out front, it's blossoming like crazy this time of year.
