Authentic Japanese and Japanese/American food. Vibe is local mom & pop shop, menu has "homecooking" items that are hard to find outside of Japan. Some might find the menu "boring", but I find it perfectly comforting and filled only with quality instead of gimmicks.
Highly recommend the Ikayaki (grilled squid), ramen salad, and whatever they put on the specials menu.

The menu is pretty uninspiring, but the food is well made. Portions are big and the prices are very fair. Simple dishes done well. They might benefit from some more interesting menu items.
