Love going here for their baos. Great taste, price is fair. We love the mini size ones and freeze them for later. The service is good. Restaurant environment is to go. It's personally a drive for me but I'd definitely return !

I used to love buying steamed pork buns and sweet custard buns here. They only sell buns here so you would expected that they are good. However, the last 2 times, they sold me old buns. The outer layer was dried, not moist. When I look at the filling inside, the boiled egg looked dried up as well. Sad to say that this place has gone downhill.

Came in a little around 4:30pm. Ordered the salted egg pork bun and the combination bun. Huge buns, adequate filling of minced pork, half of a hard boiled egg, small piece of Chinese sausage. About $7 each. It would be a better rating if they were not cold. The server took the buns out of the steamer baskets, so I thought they'd be warm. They probably stop heating it up near the end of the day, even it if closes at 7pm and I was there a few hours before closing. So if anything, go in the morning or early afternoon where it is probably piping hot. More of a place to grab and go. No seating inside or outside the shop, but there are seating areas in the plaza food court away several feet away.

Pretty good, it's got pork and salted egg yolk. I would get again , just a little dry

Such a godsend that this is available on doordash. Ordered the mini combo pork bao, and the pork shu mai. Both were served warm and very tasty. Good proportion of meat vs steam bun. Recommended to try out.

Great vanilla custard baos and interesting customer service. Workers here have good memory. I have been here probably 3 times and they recognized me when I came in again the 4th time.

Stopped by when we were shopping for some Lunar New Year goodies. We got the Combination Bao (bánh bao thập cẩm) and mini Salted Egg Yolk Bao (bánh bao trứng muối). Not the best bánh bao I've had in the area but definitely better than so many places. Both of them have pretty thick skin but not too fluffy like how I like it to be. The stuffings were good with pork, egg and sausage, but I think it'd be better with some mushrooms like other places. A little bit dry for me so you should have a drink while having it. I'd come back to try more from their menu, especially the meatballs.

Was a bit skeptical to come here at first because it didn't look much looking in, but so glad we did! The baos are made fresh and full of flavor. We got the BBQ baos, which were sweet, soft and moist but they were definitely a lot smaller than I expected though so order more, as they are very delicious! Funny thing, I ordered "The Mini" combination and thought the BBQ ones were the combination ones due to their size. The Mini Combination baos were a lot bigger than expected, the flavor was great with a perfectly cooked egg inside! No seating available inside, and the lines move quick. I highly recommend stopping here in you're in the area to take some home!

Great neighborhood spot for buns. Pretty fast service. Parking in a shared strip mall lot.

The store is pristine. Almost awkwardly so for how large the empty space is, since no indining. But that's not a bad thing. The man staffing was quiet and quick, and luckily card is good to go here because I was out of cash. I have never paid this much for banh bao in my life, but it was still a reasonable price for the work and ingredients that go into it. And some of it was my tip anyway. I had a simple salted egg bao and it was very good the night I got it. Saved two for lunch at work the next day, still tasted great reheated! The filling was simple so not overpowering, which is what I was hoping for. Usually bao wrapping texture and flavor is very overwhelming for me and I throw up (literally vomit) but this one is light and I didn't get nauseous, which is a win for me lol. I only came here by happenstance looking for a different store that was closed, but I would buy more again if I was in the area.

My friend was looking for a bao take out place for his dad while we were dining at Lion Supermarket food court. He managed to find one right beside the Lion Supermarket itself. His family is Cantonese and this is a Vietnamese store so we were not sure of how it would turn out. However, it had the combination bao which his father like so choices were limited. First impression was that it was a very clean and neat store front. There was nothing in it except for the order counter near the back of the store. Fully cooked baos were in steamers ready to be served to customers. I guess the plan was to have this store handle take-out/delivery orders only. Simple and effective. I decided to try it and ordered 4 bbq pork baos (buns) for less than $7. They were packed in a plastic container (not compostable). From the size of the baos, they weren't huge nor petite in size and from the photographs around the store, seem to show a good meat to bun ratio. Too much dough and that's all you will end up eating. My friend ordered 4 different type including the large combination baos. He will freeze the remainder and steam them up when needed. When I got home, I tried one and was not too disappointed by the quality and the quantity of the meat in the bao. Eating 3-4 of these bins would make for a pretty nice lunch portion. I will come back for more of the bbq baos next time.
