Small little corner shop in the Lion Plaza nearby the supermarket and the food court. Service was quick and friendly. My mom used to take me here to get xoi all the time when I grew up. We don't really get the other things here, but they have a ton of to-go foods and platters. I haven't been back since the pandemic hit, but I think I'd rather get xoi elsewhere. Not bad at all here but it's just lacking. XOI LAP XUONG CHA BONG: 3.25/5 The lap xuong was the best part of this, and I wish there was more! In hindsight, I should've gotten the xoi without cha bong. The cha bong was alright, but I've had better. It could've been a tad softer and less salty. The xoi itself was a little bit more bland than I was hoping, like it just didn't have a lot going on. I remember this item having more toppings, but it seems like dried shrimp isn't included anymore, which is a bummer.

The service and value are wonderful! They have amazing Banh Beo! The food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Neat little sandwiches here. I had their #1 ham banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) $7. Nothing came across as mind blowing or the inverse, foul tasting. It was not bad. The bread had a nice crunch and left a bunch of crumbs on my lap after I ate it. The sandwich was soft toward the middle and a slight snap from the pickled vegetables. There are better banh mi shops in SJ, but if I'm in Lion Plaza already, Kim's is convenient and a time saver.

This is the last time I bought something here, the price $5 I bought the same one at City bakery the same area much cheaper! And more fresh just $3.5. Kim charged over prices. Never came back.

Vietnamese sandwich and food shop located inside Lion Plaza strip mall. We ordered the bbq pork #2 and combination #11 sandwiches. The bbq pork which was similar to Chinese bbq pork was ok, nothing remarkable. The combination was good and I'd recommend that one. We also got the sticky rice with half pork floss, half Chinese sausage. It was not bad. Finally, we got the Vietnamese yogurt for dessert which was good, but a bit too sweet. Moderately busy place. Some of the savory rice cake dishes looked interesting but they were sold in huge trays so we didn't try it.

Quick and solid ready to eat to-go shoppe with many fresh rolls, crunchy snacks, and steamed rice flour items which are great when you're hungry for a fast lunch, or a perfect feed at the park. Don't expect super friendly service or anything, just grab and go. Price ranges from $6-8 for some fresh rolls. Also they've got some fresh yogurt which is quite refreshing and tangy in the cold box.

I found this place after I got hungry after getting my taxes done upstairs. I usually go for #11 combination. There's a spread is made with eggs yolks I think? which gives it a little depth for the flavor. The bread is nice a flaky and your car floor will be covered with it. Been coming here and always has a good flavor. For my Pinoys! They sell BALOT so you know I got to pick me up a couple for that strong tuhod(knees) To finish it off the need to get my Vietnamese iced coffee! Good eats!
