Didn't have fish when I stopped by a few minutes before closing, that's why you get there early! My bad. I will get those sardines next time tho. BUT they had the Bom Sal I have been looking for and needed for sometime now and I left happy. Until next time. Thanks!
Picked up some cod to make my families traditional bacalau for Christmas. The folks that run the place are so friendly and knowledgeable. I wanted to hang out and talk Portuguese food and history all day :) Thank you for keeping your shop open and available to us. It helps keep me connected to my family heritage.
These is the best place to buy Portuguese products and the owners are awesome
Seems the ownership transferred to the son, Bruno. I've seen him out back rejecting fish left and right due to 'freshness' standards. They won't have everything if you decide to pop in, but call-ahead and he might surprise you.
Just WOW!! I was able to get my Salted Cod for a Family tradition and imported just eight here.I drove more than 60 miles to get this particular COD for our dish for tradition after looking everywhere in the Bay Area and everyone's was either I don't have it, don't what you talking about or we don't have enough or is all gone. They have ALL YEAR LONG!!Not only will buy again but will come back at least every year when we make our Spanish and some Italian OLD and respected dish called: the Famous BACALAO.They have good sweets too.
Brilliant! We've been hoping to find a little family fish- and foods-monger that touches our hearts as much as Lucca in SF, and this small place full of wonderful fresh & frozen seafood and a wall of inported goodies succeeds, deeply and happily. We're set for Yule-Eve Fish Dinner and we'll be back again and again!
This confidence and trust has been what I have craved for in an expert trader for years now and I am so happy to finally get all this from you MR ARNOLD CLARK for you have proven all what I have heard about you is the true, by investing $500 with MR ARNOLD CLARK I made $6050, it not the profit alone I am glad about but the instant withdrawal into my bank account, I am forever grateful and will tell the world about you, get in touch with him on
A great place to find items from Portugal and fresh fish and seafood.
Fresh Fish and Great Service!!. I had a great opportunity to locate this Fish Market, which mostly certainly reminds me of a favorite market I frequently visited when I lived on the East Coast. I was able to purchase some fresh Salmon Steaks for dinner. Definitely tender, fresh and delicious! This is my new fresh Fish Market to purchase seafood from - Returning customer for sure. ?
This place is amazing. The proprietors Ruben & Carla are awesome, friendly and welcoming. They definitely "schooled" me about fish. I will be making a return visit here sooner rather than later. Easy to find and they do follow Covid-19 protocols which is always nice to know.

First time visit. As you enter, there is a strong salted cod fish smell, even with a mask on. However, there wasn't much inventory for bacalhau though. There's a nice selection of fresh salmon, Portuguese sausage, frozen pasteis de bacalhau, frozen sardines and other seafood in bags, and frozen octopus in different sizes. There are also some baked good and shelf items. The lady at the cashier was very nice, and we were talking about the difference between octopus shipped in from the Philippines compared to Portugal. Portugal is much better and bigger, but the taste from both are the same. It just takes longer to prepare the one from the Philippines because of the frozen water content. I found that very interesting!
What a great spot! They're very safe (COVID review) and personable. The fish and seafood is very fresh!
Absolutely love this place! Very nice people as well!
Fresh fish in the tiny Portuguese community.
Good and small family business specialized in fish but also carrying a variety of portuguese and Brazilian products. From bakery to ceramics, you can find a small piece of Portugal all around this place. The fish is good. Its variety would not be awesome by Iberian standards but probably quite good by the New World ones. They had fresh halibut, salmon, rockfish, tuna and dinner others. I even recall a happy time when they had fresh pacific sardines. Yummy ?
