This place is popular; you can tell it from its concise menu, which has no more than five sheets. The menu is simple, specialized, and affordable, but what's even better is that the food is delicious. Due to the place's popularity, I suggest going on a weekday, arriving early, or not going there too hungry.
5/2023 - REAL VIETNAMESE RICE ROLLS (Bánh Cuốn). This is where you can find authentic rice rolls, made on site and with very reasonable price. I got 1 lb of the rolls with shrimp powder for $7.50/lb. The light fish sauce was provided in a separate container. I will try the rolls with ground pork next time.First the rice sheets were thin and chewy. I have some kept in the fridge for a week and they tasted fresh once microwaved! The sauce was light not salty and not too sweet....
