This has to be one of the smallest restaurants i've ever eaten at, but the flavor and portions are big. The prices are modest. This was only the second time I have eaten here and I had to get the exact same thing as I did the first time, which was the short rib lunch special. The small ribs were very tender and the gravy was so delicious, and the white rice and bok choy were good too. The service was the definition of graciousness.. This time I came hungry and I still couldn't finish it all. It's been a long time since I was so pleasantly surprised with a new restaurant. I gave a five stars for atmosphere because of the service and because they have a wall plug for my phone charger. The only downside is they're not open on Sundays. I'm gonna try really hard to order something different next time, maybe.

The food was made quick and it was pipping hot which I loved because a lot of places cook your food and it still comes out cold. However, their sweet and sour chicken wasn’t hitting the way it should. I got a lot of pieces that was more fry than actual meat in it. The sauce was good but there was just a huge lack of actual meat.

This is absolutely the BEST salt and pepper pork chop that I've had in the bay area. SO FREAKING GOOD. And they take pride in their food.

Don’t be fooled by this boring looking restaurant, the food here is really great! The food prepare is a bit slow but with that amazing food I could ignore that.

This is a very small chinese place (family owned) with about 4 or 5 tables inside. In terms of the food, pretty good! We dined in and ordered 4 lunch specials and chicken and corn soup. The corn soup easily served 4 people and was pretty tasty. For lunch specials the portion sizes are pretty big. We ordered Mongolian beef, salt and pepper pork chops, mango chicken and rock cod filet with black sauce. All the food was tasty, none of it was too salty. Some reviews here mentioned that mango chicken was bland, I disagree. I have grown up inhe bay area all my life and I consider myself a foodie and this place was good! The owner was very nice and attendant as well. I would eat here again.

Just ordered a few items, as it was the first time we've tried this place since the reopening. The Sesame Chicken, good gracious, so chewy with literally no taste. Bok Choy, not even going to go there, as it was bland and tasteless. Beef Fried Rice was actually decent. So, a star there. The soup wasn't bad either. Another star. Would I go out of my way just to waste $5+/gallon to patron a below average Chinese food joint? Absolutely not.

This food was solid. Food overall felt simple and fresh, not overly heavy or oily like some places can be. Flavorful yet not overwhelming. Balanced.

Ordered the chow mein, broccoli in oyster sauce, and salt and pepper squid. Let's just say I knew the food was going to be quality when the restaurant let the crispy squid vent in the take out box so it wouldn't get soggy.

This is a good place to explore further. Definitely a repeat place for good food.

I got two lunch specials of the Mango chicken w/ steamed rice. An interesting thing is that the menu shows the mango chicken being spicy on the paper menu in the lunch special section while the chicken section doesn't. Anyway the chicken was a bit chewy on a lot of the pieces and I didn't really taste the mango. Unfortunately I didn't finish the food and threw away a lot of the chicken. It wasn't flavorful. Maybe the other items are better, but for this restaurant, I wouldn't recommend the chicken. The person who helped me was very nice and explained everything about what I asked. He was very nice.

Great food! Fresh veggies, not oily and the meat was tender and not dried out like other places. The good quality is as good as an expensive Chinese restaurant. Friendly owner as well. Definitely will go back.

Cancelled an order within 5 minutes. But I am still being charged for the entire order of 7 items by the restaurant and of course we didn’t get the food. Very dishonest

The food is good but the service sucks because they are kinda slow. To me it's worth the wait but if you are impatient you might want to go somewhere else
