This is THE MEXICAN RESTAURANT of the Alameda by far. The people enter here and they feel transported almost immediately to their favorite location in Mexico. The music is fantastic, the food is a gift from the heavenly chefs of the kitchen....EVERYTHING is delicious and it feels prepared with love. My wife and I stopped in here for lunch on a drive to Santa Cruz. It was absolutely fantastic! All of the food was delicious, but I will call out the charred sweet potato appetizer as being incredible. I got both a Cadillac margarita and a house margarita (don't judge, I was on vacation), and they were both very good. A great spot in every way, I wish I lived closer, now I've got to find excuses to drive through Los Gatos again!
Great carnitas burrito! It came with some pork rinds on the side, which was interesting but I wasn't a big fan. Veggie burrito was good too.
Cool vibe in this place. $16 carnitas is very reasonable for an upscale Mexican restaurant. Will come back!
