Don’t believe their Rewards program!!!! The program offers redeeming one free drink when you buy 10.They ended their partnership with Clover at end of Feb, I was told I can still redeem post-Feb, prompting me to purchase a fews drink that month for a redemption.Today, I went to their store and they don’t allow me to redeem. Really disappointed!

I came to Macu Tea simply because my initial boba spot was unexpectedly closed. Originally from Taiwan, this highly popular franchise specializes in fresh fruit teas consisting of REAL fruit. My order: *Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea + Chi-Chi Salted Cheese Foam *Yukult Green Tea + Bo-Bo Agar *Passionfruit Li-Li Tea [requested to be extra sweet] *Ruby Grapefruit Li-Li Tea Drinks are delightfully refreshing and not overly sweet. I appreciate Macu's teas actually taking like tea and not sugar water. 75% sweet is definitely my go-to style of ordering. Bonus points for Macu actually using fresh fruit when applicable- both the passion fruit bits and grapefruit elevated the flavors and provided with a nice difference in textures. 4/5 stars. This is definitely a good option whenever i'm in the mood for tea and am not willing to do much driving.

After going to MacuTea once, I've found myself coming back periodically due to their vast selection of drinks! My favorites are the Ceylon Milk tea with boba at 50% sweetness and less ice, and the Peach Black Milk tea with 25% sweetness, boba, and less ice.The atmosphere itself is pretty modern and the simplistic with the smooth lighting, which is why I like the place. The service is great usually and the staff is pretty nice and works fast.However, when it is busy, I recommend ordering online first to get your drinks and avoid the line, it could save you some time especially when grabbing drinks for a party!

I'm usually in love with this place but I just went in today and the owner or the older lady was not accommodating at all when I didn't like my drink. She almost made her own employee pay for the drink and yelled at him in front of us. It was so ridiculous to make your own employee pay for a drink. LOST CUSTOMERS WHO COME EVERYDAY!

This is a cute new boba stop!!! The service was so-so in the front, not overly warm, but not cold as well. We order the: - Tieguanyin oolong milk tea w coconut jelly 80% sweet and less ice. (4/5) I thought this was really good, more on the milkier side than tea side. - Peach Black Milk Tea 30% sweet and less ice (3.5/5) this was the perfect sweetness for me but, I didn't really taste the peach flavor. Boba texture was good, so no complaints there. - Chi Chi Strawberry Smoothie (4.5/5) there was great strawberry flavor, but I think I would've lowered the sweetness. It came with green tea jelly and that was a plus! I'd definitely come back to try some other drinks!
Get the King of Mango Smoothie! The cheese foam (aka "chi chi") here is also amazing. We visited after dinnertime on a Sunday evening and was met without a wait. The section of the plaza they're located in isn't too busy, so there was plenty of parking which was convenient too. I'd say if you're looking for a place to hang out, this place is probably most ideal for small groups since there's only about 2-3 tables with seating. I ordered the King of Mango smoothie and it was sooo refreshing! The tea jelly was addicting and the mangos were sweet. I wasn't too big a fan of the pomelo chunks but it didn't hinder the drink at all. For the size of the drink, I actually thought it was super filling since I wasn't able to finish the entire thing lol. Service was prompt and the employees were nice!

We arrived on a Sunday morning, eager for drinks after pho. Despite the fact that they didn't open until noon, a kind and generous woman decided to open the doors a little early just for us. We were truly grateful for her hospitality. The drinks we ordered were absolutely delicious especially the cheese foam.

I read another review that mentioned the cheese foam here was on another level, and can definitely agree with that statement. Here's how I would rank the drinks I've gotten so far (all 75% sweet, less ice): 1. Chi Chi Strawberry Smoothie (9/10): comes with jelly at the bottom! The cheese foam doesn't mix easily with the strawberry smoothie, which can lead to a bunch of cheese foam leftover after you finish the smoothie. 2. Chi Chi Golden Leaf Tea (10/10): Shake it well so the cheese foam incorporates with the tea. Tastes better than a regular milk tea! 3. Mango & Orange Li Li Tea (10/10): delicious fruit drink that comes with bits of mango + orange, refreshing for a hot day! I wasn't too sure what the Golden Leaf tea was, so one of the workers offered me a sample of it which was a really sweet gesture. There's a couple tables inside that can fit 3-4 people inside. Overall, would definitely drop by again when I'm in the area!

The tiramisu uses whipped cream, not cheese! (Got Strawberry tiramisu.) I was confused at first when I was drinking it.The drinks here are delicious. They have lots of fruit drinks and non-caffeinated drinks which is great because I'm trying to avoid caffeine. They use real fruit and you can taste the ripeness. You can see the boxes of fresh mangoes in the store. 10/10They also sell reusable macu tea bottles ($35). Didn't know the price beforehand so was kinda shocked,but the usefulness of a reusable boba jar that isn't plastic tempted me on my zero-waste journey.Here, have an un-aesthetic photo to see what it looks like irl:
