My partner and I were looking for a Mexican restaurant near the Milpitas Bart area so we decided to try Mama Lupita's. Place was packed for a Wednesday. I guess they had a bogo combo plate promotion (ask about their promotions) going on and it was during happy hour, but we were received with great service any way. We decided to order the air, land, and sea molcajete - which came with hand made tortillas. Delicious. Kuddos to the lady working behind the bar, cant remember...

A good local family-owned Mexican restaurant that serves beer and cocktails. Service is friendly and fast. Complimentary chips and salsa. Great variety of dishes. Be sure to try their carnitas

We found this unassuming place on the map and decided to give it a try
I was happy to see menudo and pozole on the menu, sign of an authentic Mexican restaurant
Of course, I had to order the menudo. The meat and cow stomach just melt in my mouth. So good!
Pork carnitas was ok. Pork was barely warm and the rice was plain. Bean tasted good
The margarita had a bit too much syrup in it. I'll remember...
