I visited this gem on a Sunday and it was busier than I anticipated so I had to wait. Not a big deal and wasn't a long time. Once inside, I was able to order right away. I Iooove mariscos and had a hard time making a choice because everything looked so delicious. I was torn between a vasiloco and Aguachiles. I ultimately decided on a Super Chavela, Aguachiles Tricolor, and a roll of sushi. I can't remember specifically what sushi roll I got because the star of the show was definitely the aguachiles!! The Chavela was ice cold and so refreshing. It did a great job of relieving the heat from the aguachiles. The aguachiles were so fresh and flavorful. I've honestly been craving more ever since and will be back soon for that vasiloco!!!

I went to Mariscos Costa Alegre on 2/23/24 with my daughter and husband and had the molcajete mixto, Tacos Gobernador and tacos de asada. We were given a mariscos consomé when we sat down and it was so damn good! The service was excellent! I am from Richmond Ca which is about an hour away and I keep telling my husband to bring me back for the Molcajete. The flavor is top tier and oh damn the creamy sauce in the molcajete is a must have. If you are in San Jose. Don't leave without trying this place

Best Mexican food so far! Fusion with a little bit of Japanese sushi which is a good and interesting combination and experience!Patrick is our waiter and he just wonderful! Patrick is very knowledgeable and courteous, continues to checking in on us and busting our table all the time!All the ingredients are so fresh and tasty!We are highly recommend the fish tacos! They are out of the world!My wife also enjoyed her Margarita (Mango flavor) she said she will try the lemon one next time!We will surely revisit to enjoy other menu options!Parking: Parking is somewhat limited and difficult!

No need to go to Mexico to enjoy authentic Mexican food here. We ordered grill fish and it reminded us of what we ate in Puerto Vallarta. Service was quick and friendly. Will come back for sure. Gave 3 stars because this place is a family restaurant and casual setting, very hard to find parking.
