I bought some enchiladas Michoacana’s with some churros and caramel sauce really good the restaurant it’s very decorated in a beautiful way and the staff is very nice very helpful very respectful too great place to bring the family to eat

This place became my favorite after the first visit but after the third it went to garbage. I order tongue tacos and I was surprise they were not fully tongue, they mixed with cheeks or head meat. That sucks.

Came in ordered six tacos and two drinks for Take-out paid around Almost $50.00 & left a Tip when I got the food it was very plain I was only given a side of onions and cilantro and salsa NO radish NO limes and NO grilled peppers when I realized this wasn’t included in my plate I went back in to ask for these sides and they charged me $3.27 extra for asking for these sides!!!! They lost my business. A real authentic restaurant wouldn’t have done that.

Is San Jose asleep on Mendoza's? I havent heard anything about this place, just seeing it driving past. I'm from Chicago and haven't been impressed with the food in the Bay. Mendoza's is the first Mexican restaurant we've tried that taste like home. This is AUTHENTIC Mexican AND so delicious! Now if we can just find some good queso dip somewhere lol. Definitely recommend this place. We will be return customers for sure.

Don't know why anyone would give this place more than 2 stars. Fajitas were oily and didn't come with sour cream, pico, or guac. Ambiance is the loudest i've ever heard in any restaurant... Could not even hear myself think. Management is overworking the staff.... Only 2 waitresses busting their butt and somehow keeping sane (very admirable!).... no bus-boy or dishwasher so plates pile up and there's a long wait for a waitress. Price of food is too high... $3 for a CAN of soda!? No free drink refills and store-bought chips makes this place seem generic n stingy. I will not be coming back here.

I do not recommend this restaurant I ate last night dinner and this morning I asked them for some water and I’m a truck driver and I needed some water and they deny it. You don’t deny water to anyone you don’t know what’s the issue and why they’re asking for water so I will not recommend it I will tell all my friends not to eat

We went to celebrate my birthday, everything was fine until it was time to order our food, the waitress came up to us to tell us how much we had to leave as a tip since there were 11 of us including children... I honestly don't know why she said it when she wasn't asked... after ordering the food and bringing it to the table, the waitress disappeared and never looked around to ask if we were okay or if she offered something else, we were the ones who looked for her when we needed something…. And there were almost no people other than 2 more tables besides ours… but it was good to let me know how much I had to leave as a tip…. That's why I'm only giving you 3 stars for that waitress who I think is only for the tips but doesn't do her job as she should by being attentive to your table... Anyway, everything else was delicious...
