About Metro balderas

Metro Balderas is a taqueria located right across Valley Health Center Bascom Pavilion E. The restaurant is very clean, with all sauce bottles and tables clean. The food was extremely fresh, not oily, not greasy or sloppy, and very well balanced in seasoning and flavors. The Asada dish was delicious, and the Tacos asada y pastor were also good but not as tasty as the asada dish. The asada plate comes with Mexican rice, refried beans, flour tortillas, grilled onions, poblano peppers, and a lettuce tomato salad. The asada and pastor tacos come with thick lime wedges, grilled onions, fresh cucumber and radish slices. The green sauce was better than the red and wasn't overpowering flavorwise. The asada Super Burrito with refried beans was very flavorful and fresh tasting. The Tostada de Tinga has really flavorful chicken, and the Enchiladas with red sauce was the best ever had. Of course the al pastor tacos are amazing, and they are the best tacos al pastor in the bay. Free chips and salsa come with the order. Service is fine, with ordering and prepaying at the register. They didn’t ask for tips when paying with card. For a taqueria it's very good, though for pescado choices it's only basically shrimp or some grilled fish, with no fish tacos.

07.07.26 1pm Mom and I had lunch here as reviews were good and this place is right across Valley Health Center Bascom Pavilion E. You can see the restaurant from dad's room!

This restaurant's food was extremely fresh, not oily, not greasy or sloppy, and very well balanced in seasoning and flavors. Having only slept for 3 hrs I could barely taste the food. Mom said the Asada (thin multi large pieces of steak) plate w.Mexican rice, refried beans, flour tortillas, grilled...read full review
