The food is exquisite at Milan. EVERYTHING we have eaten there so far has been exceptional! The Ossobuco is the BEST I’ve ever had. Pici pasta with Oxtail is terrific too - and that beat salad ?. Save room for the Tartufo; and MAKE SURE you start the night with the Pulpo - again exceptionally well cooked, with terrific flavors.

I really liked this place. I went on a friday night so it was pretty noisy which is why I gave it a 4 stars on Atmosphere but this place was hopping. I had the Lamb. Excellent choice.

Everything we had was amazing. We brought two of our friends for dinner. The gilled octopus was prepared perfectly. We shared a beet salad, everything was very fresh. I had the Ossobucco, it was prepared perfectly as well. Service was excellent

My wife and I ordered the Osso Buco. Milan's dish is prepared with lamb, not veal. Unfortunately it was pretty uninspiring. The lamb was dry and although the sauce was very flavorful, there wasn't enough of it to help moisten the lamb. There was no real effort to disguise the taste of the turnips, they were probably boiled and tasted like slightly less bitter turnips. With that said the appetizer and the company was excellent.

Fabulous dining experience. Service was lovely, food was great excellent and interesting. We had the shrimp appetizer, grilled cauliflower, beet salad and we both had the Dungeness crab pasta. Very happy with all of them!

I came once for an office dinner and left very impressed. Chef accommodated special vegetarian Risotto request! I chose the restaurant to celebrate a special family event. We were assigned a private space and service was awesome! Our event was made special by Milan's service and food.

We had a special occasion dinner here, which was lovely. Great food and friendly staff. Some of the dishes were really special and beautiful to the eye even before first bite. I would totally recommend this place for special event, date night or just when you feel like something little

This restaurant should be a Michelin star, if it isn't already! Fabulous flavors in every bite! We enjoyed something from each section of the menu (appetizer, bread, main course, and dessert, as well as drinks). Every plate had a top-tier presentation and we were never disappointed in flavor or portions. Families were welcome, but this would also be a great date night location, too.

Very over priced on Valentine’s Day. $125 sea bass ? and $125 pasta ? ?????? food is not bad. But definitely expensive.

The food was very good. The look is cool. The service was a little slow but friendly. They seemed short staffed. The noise level was uncomfortable at times but it was a full house. The prices seemed high around $90 with drinks but I guess everything has gone up. It's not a great value but we had a good time.

Our Valentine's dinner at Milan in Willow Glen was an evening to remember. We once had to drive up to San Francisco and fight traffic and parking for a good dinner. Now we have Milan in San Jose, no traffic hassles, easy parking. And once inside the ambiance is elegant and upbeat. And there were many special touches for this special evening. The staff met us at the door and got us seated quickly. There was just enough time to enjoy the special and classy decorations, when the waiters were on hand. It was a full house so I am not sure how the management was able to organize such smooth efficient service. Even with so many guests, the food arrived quickly and it was divine. The crab cakes had more flavor than usual, and a lovely texture. My sea bass was buttery and flavorful, how did they do it? My husband dug into a handsome looking rack of lamb with gusto. The lava cakes with a springy exterior and warm melting chocolate inside was perfection...And we never felt rushed to free up our table, and we talked for nearly three hours. Leaving each lady received a long stemmed red rose...Thank you, Milan for the perfect Valentine!!!!!

Valentines dinner at Milan was an evening to remember: lovely decorations, graceful and efficient service, and one delicious course after another. My sea bass was buttery, melt in your month with delicate but perfect flavor. My husband had a ravishing rack of lamb, pear salad was perfection. The lava chocolate cake to die for. And on the way I was handed a long stemmed red rose...what is not to love!

We enjoyed our second time dining at Milan for Valentine's Day. We had been looking forward to returning and we were not disappointed. The restaurant decorations and ambiance were lovely for a Valentine date night. The Prix Fixe menu was very good, the crab cake, the Seabass and lobster were standouts, all were similar quality of seafood we had enjoyed the first visit. The wine selection is thoughtful as well, we really loved the Italian whites on the menu. Thank you, Milan and Juan for a lovely evening.
