We finally decided to give this place a try, despite the mixed reviews, and when we got there today, there were workers inside remodeling the place and there was a sign above that said, "Coming Soon:..." THE ALMADEN MIMOSAS IS CLOSED!!! One star because Mimosas didn't update their main webside or Yelp and they wasted our time. We went up the road to Country Inn Cafe, so all was not lost.

Just like the other location but better. Larger newer and very good service. The menu is just like the other location. My fav is the Benedict's eggs.

I've heard so many conflicting impressions for this place so we had to try it for ourselves. We went on a Sunday for breakfast only waited about 10 minutes for a table. You can also put your self on the waitlist via Yelp FYI. I had a crab omelette it was amazing my friends had eggs Benedict and a Chile verde omelette. We all wolfed our food. I altered mine to Keto by slitting potatoes and adding salad and they accommodated my special request nicely! The drinks are cool but I'm not sure what's a Bloody Mary if they don't have vodka? Also I think people are accustomed to the bottomless mimosa at Mo's $14 vs coming to Mimosa's and paying $28. Granted theirs is huge it's more than I want to spend... but they have beer! Oh our server Rita was the best! Super nice to us we will be back! Thank you!

Location is dirty and all of the servers have an attitude. We were greeted by a younger girl who had a monotone and didn't smile one. Low key felt like she was possessed by a demon by the way she looked and talked to us. Our server was more friendly at first but when I got served my coffee, I was given a visibly dusty cup (see picture). When I sent it back and canceled my coffee order (cos that's disgusting), she copped an attitude. Never returning and beware. I doubt they would pass a health inspection...

1. Used the yelp waitlist, still had to wait over the quote time 2. Ordered passion fruit mimosa, husband order beer. Beer was flat, passionfruit was minimal. 3. Ordered then waited over 40 mins for food to arrive. Side avocado was missing. 4. Spoke to manager, he did nothing. 5. Child's burger over cooked, French toast was terrible. ( I don't know how you could mess up on French toast) 6. Wont return ever

We left almost as soon as we sat down. It was hotter inside the restaurant than it was outside and it was 2on and 90°. It was too hot to sit and wait for service let alone sit and eat. Get new fans, turn on the AC, something needs to change

I came here with my family expecting it would be the same quality service as the Mimosas on Pearl. The Ac didn't work, very hot. Took forever to get our food. Asked for a beer and they didn't have any so they had to go buy some next door. Really disappointed, will not come here again.

We were pleasantly surprised to find another location of one of ours favorite breakfast places - Mimosas cafe. The one on Pearl is a walking distance from our house but sometimes there is a wait (because it's soo good!)... however the new location on Almaden Expressway is bigger, no wait and plenty of parking! The food and service was excellent as usual!

To borrow from the author comedian @tompoppa have you ever been at a restaurant for the first time and while waiting to be greeted and seated, you look at the reviews of the restaurant? I have. And in spite of the reviews, you remain as you patiently wait to be acknowledged as the original anticipation of the being "greeted and seated is waning? I have. Shout out to the following reviewers who tried to warn me. @Nicole G. @Oje T. @Joanna S. I'm sorry I did not listen to you. Finally all of us that's right what was originally a couple plus me and my wife became another party this time with reinforcements a party of 4 all of us stopped the waitperson to let her know while we were enjoying getting to know each other we still had a goal of being fed. At last we were all seated and for the next 10-15 minutes we sat no water no being acknowledged. Finally I made eye contact with our wait person Alessandra she was wonderful she apologized as we thought she was understaffed. A side note there was no management or a member of the ownership as we ordered. Not acceptable I'm addressing. This to you the ownership and management again NOT ACCEPTABLE! your employee Alessandra was cool under pressure and very professional she was the only plus of this experience. As if it could not get anymore unbelievable my wife had her breakfast deleivred to her by now a member of management and I kid you not after delivering her food he looks at me and asks "is there anything else I can get you?" I replied yes my order. The food to be fair was good but then again to be fair it's hard to mess up French Toast. I again address the ownership 1. Start reading your reviews. 2. You have a long ways to go with customer service in greeting guests. 3. We will be back in a month or two to see if you have made the recommended improvements. 4. Absentee ownership and or management is a recipe for disaster stop that immediately. I gave 2 for Alessandra and the breakfast.

Says it's open from 9:00AM-2PM. The locked door and empty restaurant at 12:45PM says otherwise...

One of the very few breakfast options in Almaden, I'd say it's mediocre. The water taste like tap, takes forever for food (30 min for one pancake breakfast on a slow day) and was hotter inside then outside. Paying 13-17 for breakfast and considering the above, I'll skip this place next time and head to the golf course.

Visit this location over the weekend...first clue it was pretty empty. Breakfast local in Almaden and it's not full??? Suspect! We ordered a couple of breakfast items chicken fried benedict, fried chicken bacon waffle and OJ. Benedict: where to begin...The chicken should be called tenders, no bone in fresh chicken just hard crusted rock pieces with some meat inside. The eggs felt/ tasted like styrofoam, so much so they where folded like sheets on top of the tenders. Then to top all off.. two slices of unmelted cheese that had hard edges. My guess they usually have the holindaise sauce or gravy to cover up this disaster. We had the country gravy on the side it has a good taste and had lots of bits of bacon in it but just didn't really enjoy the blob of uncooked flour in it. CBW: My son ate it all. It did have a nice golden color and a lot of bacon bits inside. I did have a bite and it tasted a little bit off to me it could have been the batter. OJ: fresh-squeezed and refreshing taste. I can see why you would have your mimosas here. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me they sugar dip the cup.. nothing a little wiping could correct. So suffice to say that it was a disappointing breakfast. My last note would be to the establishment possibly changing their cleaner for their table tops. The table behind us was bust and wipe down and the chemical smell was off the Richter scale. Definitely not the smells to have in your nose prior to getting your food.

I tried to call in a to go order but apparently their phone wasn't working. I went in and there was a decent crowd. I got the protein scramble with country potatoes and sourdough! It was a pretty good value for $14 I will say! Everything tasted really good and they were generous with the chicken apple sausage portions. I definitely want to come back and actually sit down and have a Mamosa. I've been to their original location and it's really good! It looked like they were a little understaffed but they are a little bit new so I'll cut them some slack. I'm updating my review on July 7, 2019. I've come back here and the food is still good but they have been open for months now and this place still looks half finished. They have this random room in the back with a half finished table just sitting there in plain view, doesn't looks too pretty. The walls have all these holes in them and they don't look like they are decorating it that much. I expect more out of this place honestly!

Went here on a Sunday for brunch with gals. Let me just say....they do not have AC and it was ridiculously hot the entire meal it was hard to enjoy. They didnt even have portable fans. You would think with high ceilings it wouldn't be too hot. Wrong. We kept the menus to fan ourselves. Just chewing our food exerted too much energy as it was too hot in this establishment. Even the waitress said it was hot. The individual mimosas tasted only of champagne. No flavor whatsoever. Food was mediocre. So dry. Bland. Never coming back.
