Visited this place on a whim and ordered a few things; bibimbap, jajangmyeon, and an order of KFC. The food overall was pretty good with the bibimbap being the star, the jajangmyeon was good but a little on the neutral side in terms of taste but bonus points for coming with mandu. The KFC was ok but the sauce was a little saltier than we were expecting and the chicken wasn’t well coated, they do get a nod of approval for having spicy chicken that doesn’t hold back on the heat....
Best fried chicken till now — crispy outside, juicy inside, and not greasy at all. MoDak, truly impressed me, not just with the food but also with the best service I’ve experienced. Will definitely be back
We went on a Friday night. This was our second time at MoDak. I was surprised there was nobody dining in when we got there, but I was happy to see they had some togo orders.
I love the decor.
The food is excellent.
The only thing I would suggest is not adding sesame oil to their kimbaps. I have eaten kimbaps in many different places. This was the first time they had sesame oil on them.
