Food was great and portions were great too but the sauce bar was very dirty and half empty which they're trying to keep up but staff and our host was very rude and unfriendly made us feel like unwanted guests. There was 1 girl host which was very nice and helpful and helped us out even though she was not our host.
Expect good food but not good customer service.

For starters this place is very pricey… more kind of hipster food because you will still leave hungry. When we walked in, we were clueless on if we just sit down or what. We had to flag down an employee and they had us sit down. We can NOT order with a person, literally so stupid that we have to scan the QR code and order online. They are a restaurant… we shouldn’t have to order online.
We ordered the Mumu Signature with Sukiyaki, tom yum, black angus short ribs, tiger shrimp, thin chicken thigh, beef tendon, white rice, and house ramen. We also ordered cuttlefish which I was told is like calamari and an extra udon noodle. So if you dont like veggies…. this isn’t the place to go because most of the veggies we did not eat and we don’t get a choice of veggies.
It was just ok, but wouldn’t come back again. The soup base wasnt all that great. They do have a sauce station for flavoring your base. The cuttlefish was kind of like calamari, but squid is better. Do not get the beef tendon, my daughter ordered that not knowing what it was “tough, fibrous connective tissue linking a cow's muscles to its bones” it was like chomping on fatty gristle, it was disgusting.

Reached out to Mumu yesterday since their phones don’t work as my credit card was stolen and used here. They asked me to reach out to them on their website, where the only option is email, which bounced back. So now I am back giving a 1 star to get anyone from this location to reach out to me with a working contact.

I felt bad because we came in 30 minutes before closing but they were still so welcoming and i didn’t feel rushed at all. The food was really worth the price, nice spread and super fun date spot :)). I will be coming back!
